May I add just a couple of words "not" quoted on Dynamat website ..?
Dynamat recommends using it on "all accessible areas" .. however, owing to its specific consistency ... it should not be used in the engine bay, and more specifically the hood underside ... owing to extreme temperatures, Dynamat is likely to melt ....
In my car, I am waiting for the Altis/ 2.0D hood liner to arrive and then I am going to use Dynahood in that area.
Wheel arches produce the most noise ... while it is easy to Dynamat the rear wheel arches, it is difficult to do the same with front arches. Dynamat also comes in liquid form .. but not available in Pakistan. Dynamat Xtreme cannot be used on the wheel arches from the engine side due to high temp issues and also the cosmetic considerations ... so I am thinking about another solution for the front wheel arches ... InshaAllah, I will share my conclusion when I finalize my thoughts on this ... Dr Tanveer, our dear friend has done something to his car, and today I will have detailed consultation with him on this subject
