DOOP HID Xenon Headlight Conversion Kits
Cutting-edge HID Xenon technology featuring 32-bit or 64-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) ballasts and FOCUS EYE bulbs are now available through our Online Store. Ultra Racing Canada has secured a Canada-wide distributorship for HID Xenon headlight conversion kits and bulbs from Guangzhou Doop Electronic Co. Ltd. (DOOP) of China with kit prices starting as low as $96CAD. Kits include 2 xenon bulbs, 2 DSP ballasts, wiring and installation instructions.
Why DOOP?
As part of URC's committment to driving safety and performance, we have selected DOOP because they are the only manufacturer of HID bulbs that have combined the stability and longevity of 32-bit or 64-bit DSP with the anti-scattering safety of FOCUS EYE bulbs all backed by a two-year warranty. Non-FOCUS EYE systems carry an 18-month warranty.
Why higher bit rates?
Higher bit rates expand the range of light intensities into the millions, respond quicker to voltage variations and provide more even lighting throughout the intensity range. Some FOCUS EYE systems even allow you to remotely adjust the lighting intensity and focus for varying lighting conditions from urban to highway to off-road.
Applications
Know your lighting system! If you have a vehicle with a reflector-style lighting system, then installing a FOCUS-EYE system is your only option. Otherwise, your vehicle represents a hazard to oncoming vehicles and yourself. Please note that FOCUS EYE may not be available for all bulb types at this time, particularly high/low beam applications such as 9004.
If your vehicle is equiped with a projector-style lighting system, then regular DOOP Xenon Conversions are all you will need to make a substantial improvement in your nighttime driving visibilty. In all cases, we recommend that your vehicle's lighting system be realligned by professionals.
Available Xenon Bulbs:
H1, H3 , H4/9003/HB2, H7, H8, H9, H10/9145, H11, H12/9055, H13/9008, 880, 881 , 893, 9004/HB1, 9005/HB3, 9005XS, 9006/HB4, 9006XS, 9007/HB5, etc. Click here to find the right bulb for your vehicle.
COLOUR TEMPERATURE:
Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) and indicates the hue of the light source. As the colour temperature increases, the light output of the HID is reduced.
4300K HID Xenon Conversion Kits/Bulbs - Provided as stock xenon lighting by many automotive manufacturers. This colour offers the most illumination at 3200Lm (lumens) compared to a halogen bulb at 1450Lm, and the greatest longevity at approximately 3200 hours. The light appears fairly white with a light yellowish hue.
6000K HID Xenon Conversion Kits/Bulbs - Provides a pure white colour with a very slight and barely noticeable blue/purple tint. This colour offers slightly less illumination at 2500Lm, and longevity is approximately 2500 hours.
8000K HID Xenon Conversion Kits/Bulbs - Provides a crystal blueish light output. Illumination drops to 2200Lm and longevity to approximately 2000 hours.
10000K HID Xenon Conversion Kits/Bulbs - Provides a deep crystal blue light output. The blue is noticeably deeper than 8000K. Illumination drops to 2000Lm. Longevity is uncertain due to the very high temperature, but may be as low as 1000 hours.
WARNING:
HID Xenon technology is completely different from conventional automotive lighting technologies and, as such, it is not enough to replace conventional or halogen bulbs with xenon bulbs. Ballasts must be used with xenon bulbs in order to balance current and operating temperatures.
DISCLAIMER:
Please be advised that the use of HID Xenon technology in after-market applications may not be legal in some provinces or states. The exception may be the FOCUS EYE technology due to its anti-scattering properties. Further, some colours, particularly those greater than 6300K, may not be legal in some provinces or states. Wakefield Robotics Limited (dba Ultra Racing Canada) assumes no responsibility for the application of HID Xenon technologies sold to their clients, and encourages their clients to consult the relevant motor vehicle legislation for their area before purchasing.
