Maqsad poora ho gaya hai...
- Its upto you; if your audio control steering is in good shape; use it; else use its button...i will be using the control steering one; so that original one remains intact and when selling will put it back...the VTi's usually have low resale; and no one will give us anything for these addons
The steering wheel is in 10/10 condition.
- These controls will work with Oriel CD Changer and Rockmars...I am also told about the new in-dash thing coming up soon...I am also waiting for it...I will not be using Rockmars for sure. I am in no hurry; if this new in-dash thing is not good; will go for Oriel CD Changer OR the existing Kenwood one; it has the support of Steering Controls; to make the steering control work with Kenwood / Sony / Pioneer HUs; we need to add resistances; I wrote the existing Honda Steering resistances for reference...as these Kenwood / Sony / Pioneer etc needs different values. @rizwan400 posted there values in his https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/members-member-rides/169831-altis-cruisetronic-sr-arrived thread; he has successfully run them with the Sony HU; if you want to go this route; instead of getting it done from some road side electricians / audio-wala...I strongly recommend find some Islo Pak Wheeler with relevant degree who can guide you how to properly do it.
If you are not in hurry; and want to wait for the new in-dash; wait till I get it done from Rizwan Bh. Will post pictures / details. We have decided to wait for the new in-dash thing till Eid...Rozon key baad aram sey karein gein...if this new in-dash will have good quality will go for it; else will find some nice HU or will run with existing Kenwood one
Well if they work with the current Kenwood Player, then I will have enough money to change the speakers etc. Otherwise I'll have to pay some nice amount for either the DVD or OEM Changer. Zunny Bhai is coming on 6th of August. Lets see what can I do till then. I'll check from the man who installed Sattar Bhai's system. Also, I'll post the details of the unit that the dealer has advised me. I hope it turns out to be something good.
Btw, how much will the new in-dash that you are talking about cost?
