Hi Zunny!:
Finally it time to reveal the (dunno what to call it)……
First here’s a bit of a write up on what’s been happening during the period August, 2011 to now…
History of the Vehicle……..
Decided to buy a new vehicle in August, 2011. Did some research on vehicles available and what could be done to them without major modifications retaining the originality of the vehicle ad also maintaining the warranty.
Saw Zunny’s steering Wheel upgrade on Pak Wheels and was quite inspired by it.
With what I wanted to do and how I wanted my car to look I decided on a Civic. I Planned all the upgrades and the final look of the car along with all the availability of parts before I purchased the vehicle.
Bought a brand new 2011 white Civic Oriel Prosmatic with Navigation in November, 2011 took delivery of the car on 16th November, 2011.
Out of the showroom I drove to a petrol pump and filled up the tank and then directly to a tire shop. Bought Rims and Tires and had them installed. The rims were 17” polished black when I bought them tires were Dunlop 225/45/ZR17. Reason for the choice of tires was that this size is the same diameter as the original tires on the car but are broader and bigger. They add the mean look to the car without going through the hassle in recalibration of the speedometer.
Next I ordered the steering wheel from Zunny and the appropriate Tachometer(For Cruise Control) from Qasim Bhai (FIREBLADE).
Once the steering arrived I when to a Honda Dealer in Karachi and had a long lengthy discussion on what I wanted to do with the vehicle and negotiated the costs. The owner of the dealership (other than where I bought my car) was a ‘shoukeen’ person and he assisted and suggested many things and his prices were extremely reasonable. He suggested a full leather interior and a Pearl White and Graphite combination of paint job. This seemed extremely interesting so I decided on that.
Once the dealer and installation problems sorted out I identified all the other parts required for the car from the US and ordered them through the ‘Khepia’ route. The parts arrived in 3 installments to reduce freight and Customs costs.
During the time the parts from the US were on order and I was awaiting their arrival I upgraded the speakers and installed an Amplifier and a woofer.
Finally the car went into the dealership for installation of everything on 21st April, 2011 and came out on 7th June, 2012. Of course I was there to see all the steps at least 3-4 times a week.
The following equipment is installed in the car:
Muggen RR Body Kit including front bumper, fog lights, front bumper lip with driving LED lights, rear bumper extension with exhausts and LED Brake Light and side skirts and grill.
Full car painting to Pearl White and Graphite (all body and rims that appear black in the pictures are actually Graphite in color).
All the seats and the side door panels were removed during the painting process and were sent to a specialist leather shop and were re-upholstered to make them more comfortable and real leather was installed after removing the cloth upholstery. I deliberately chose the original Honda color scheme so as not to disturb the already good looking interior.
The other parts installed are wherever possible original Honda parts with Honda Part Numbers and are listed below:

One major mistake I made was that that I did not realize that the headlights and tail lights of the American models are different than the Asian models so could not install them. I have them with me if someone is interested in getting them.
All the work performed on the car was done in a thoroughly professional manner using all genuine Honda connectors and pins. Those pins required to connect the replaced tach and the steering wheel that were not already there were specially manufactured by M/s Thal Engineering who are the manufacturers of the Wiring Harness that is installed in Pakistani Honda.
The Tacho was reset to about 100KM as the car had hardly done any running since I had bought it.
Well that’s it…. I suppose the photographs will tell the rest of the story… I must tell u I am not a good photographer but I suppose one can see what is the end result.
Photographs coming to u in the next few emails 3-4 at a time

Pervez Jamula
