Btw i have the same Rockmars unit in my car but i got it from alot less than what you paid for it. The unit with a rear view camera(which is also given by Atlas honda in their Navigation equiped cars and fitting set me back Rs.19500/-

Yeah I heard that too and later got it confirmed when visited Honda North. This really sucks to be caught up in such a situation. By the way "Premium" is now also there on both VTi as well as Oriel, don't know how much. A very reliable source told me, that after this jump of 40k, another bump of 25-30k is expected in July or August or maybe earlier.

I was expecting the increase; but guessed that it will be after May when plant will re-open...didnt knew they will announce the increase before that and even disturb the booked delivieres (A)

Yesterday, a friend at Honda 3S Sales was in a fix. Two days ago deliveed two VTi received the payments and decided to send the amount to Atlas Honda the next day as by that time it was closing time. The next day Atlas Honda demanded the increase from him as he had not wired the amounts and delayed. Now he is an employee and at odds.

Pray that I get the new uplifted front bumper and grille today because the shopkeeper said that his son might have sold them. They were wrapped new with Honda part number and markings. Imported from.........Albania. :o

The dealer tried to sell me car from their stock...He had Silver Oriel M/T with NAV; it was tempting; given I like Manual Cars...but I was so pissed knowing that there is difference of 1.85 lacs between VTi M/T and Oriel M/T and just 1.40 lacs between VTi P/T and Oriel P/T...and then ~25k extra for OEM NAV..and above all; 50k "on". I dont have so much money to waste

Sir Rockmars pics, video of every aspect alongwith a detailed review......This evening insha Allah. Yesterday when I was getting the lights installed at 3S Honda, their guys came over to see the unit in action and were quite satisfied with it. Although, openly, as obvious they had to support theirs.

Good move specially with the increase in price. The only best thing that impressed me in the case of Honda Sat Nav unit was that I saw an icon of TPMS but when I wanted to access it, it denied me the access saying that device not supported.

Rockmars also has TPMS and OBD Connectivity options; I wrote an email to Rockmars; but there is no reply from them yet. Also visited their Lahore dealer; they also had no idea what i was talking about

Check the Rockmars manuals (if you have got any) you might find something there!

Rockmars is basically WIN-CE 5 powered device; and if you want to unlock it and want to use the device as general purpose PDA / Computer in Car thing; you can use MioPocket 4.0 (Unlock for GPS devices); given Rockmars has SD Card; install MioPocket on some seperate/new SD Card as told here http://netfresco.com/MioPocket/MioPocket%20Readme.html#2.1 so that you can reboot it to factory defaults by simply unloading the SD Card. Rockmars comes with SD Card; you can load the SD Card to the computer and examine its file structure (also backup its content in case your SD Card gets corrupted); there must be some EXE in the root; which gets executed when you select NAVI option. Use this EXE name while installing MioPocket on the seperate SD Card.

The same technique can be applied on OEM Navigation unit; its also WIN-CE 6 powered device!

The above information is found from Internet and I personally have not yet tested, use it on your own risk or wait till my Civic arrives and I install Rockmars into it (H)
