I want to upgrade my home video camera from casette based to these new digital one. Is there any Digital Video Camera; which has Standard Video/Audio in using which I can digitize my old home VHS-C cassettes? If no; then some good PCI / USB Video card for computer?

Very well said 2C. There's a lot of depth in those words if someone understands. Probably one of the main reasons, when it comes to rides is that in Pakistan you have to work your As$ off to be able to afford one. So when you finally do, it becomes somewhat a part of you. Something like that.

still on it havent given up as yet! Battery died so bought a new 1 yesterday plus Begum is now getting impatient as she has to go for shopping n im in my car all evening straight after work for last 5 days. Will take a break for a few days n try to complete on the weekend. Some wiring left.

Sardar bhai, as already discussed. The justified price of a second hand unit without warranty is max 12K in its best possible condition imaginable. Anything over that is a drop in cost-effectiveness for you and a profit for the seller (generally speaking). Rest the balancing act is upto you as to how much you are willing to spend.
I think thats a reasonable offer for someone to give to a seller but from a buyer's perspective, one could up by Rs.1000/- (tops) if the unit is in immaculate condition keeping in view the appreciation of the item.
