The "Rockmars Guys" in Dubai have now abandoned Rockmars and they are dealing with another brand. Anyways its good that you have got a nice "OEM CD Changer" in an awesome deal. OEM CD Changer + woofer instead of Rockmars...I say its much better..all's well that ends well!

Thanks Khurram. A HU might be able to launch drones in the sky but its basic characteristic is to play music "decently". I tried to adjust with the quality of the unit but even a non-audiophile like me couldn't bear the issue. Since I had to make a choice, I decided the sooner, the better otherwise the loss would have been too much. Allah was kind enough to lead me into that superb deal of the the OEM 6 CD-changer. I saved some money to get not only the sub-woofer but a 4-Channel Amp too (pics later). Thanks everybody.

Congratulations fouad bhai. The update's are excellent. I'm glad that you got the oem CD-changer and that too in excellent condition.

I was also going for this but then decided to wait and save some money to get a good pioneer H.U..

Trust me, I was very worried initially as after the removal of Rockmars, I would not have anything else to fill up the gap/slot in the original panel. But I knew I had to do it. It was beyond my wildest imagination that I'd get an OEM Changer I've been looking for in a price less than I was expecting. The existing speakers now sound like premium ones and I don't think there would be a requirement of replacing these very soon. The sub will be able to handle the bass.

good update. I aint an audiophile myself.this cd changer does the job 4 me. B4 installation u shouldve connected the wiring for aux audio n steerimg wheel cons so dat u need not open the dash again!

Honda's OEM SATNAV

1) Screen does get hot but not too much. Still i can keep my finger comfortably for 2 minutes i think.

2) Song seeking/selection problem is absent too.

3) Buttons are intact aswell

Problems:

1) There is a lag in appearing of reverse camera video display after i put the gear to "R". The lag is approximately "5" seconds.

2) Once my whole unit STOPPED working. And got fixed by inserting a pin in the reset area (just like how we reset calculators with a common pin).

Thats all.

From my experience till now,

The touch screen is not that finger friendly rather it works better with the stylus provided or with the remote control(one has to aim it at the sensor to get it to work).

And till now my unit hasn't hanged, been stuck or stopped working.. Alhamdolillah it's working great!

great u got the audio cons! Yippee.this is the thing which will always be my priority 1 whenever i change cruisematec! 1 gets so used to it that u cant stop urself fidgeting with the buttons! Ill update the DIY in a day or two to show every1 the wiring of the audio controls.

OK guys so heres the scene ... my father booked a civic higher tier and the !@#$%^&*( honda walay said that they only had manual versions .... so i have to wait a bit for my car ..... So as my old 8th gen is standing in a corner with 80k on its odo i decided to do a DIYs on it and test it for vulnerabilities......

Moreover i also need suggestions for where and how to get civic si oem rims 11 spoke.... importing from malaysia, thailand, australia, and north america would not be a hassle but i prefer pakistan for laying my hands on them quickly....
