I have talked to them and they are still dealing with Rockmars. They said I can't have one for Pakistan from here as the cars here are LHD and advised me to get one from Pakistan. The rate he gave me is 26,500/- with GPS.

The "Rockmars Guys" in Dubai have now abandoned Rockmars and they are dealing with another brand. Anyways its good that you have got a nice "OEM CD Changer" in an awesome deal. OEM CD Changer + woofer instead of Rockmars...I say its much better..all's well that ends well!

Took the car to Lahore trip..have got the number plates and return files. Came back in afternoon 4PM..and highway had almost no traffic. It does 78kmph @ 2k RPM, 97kmph @ 2.5k RPM and 116kmph @ 3k RPM. Earlier it used to take half a tank but today it did the round trip in 40% tank and this included occassional150 to 160 range driving as well.

I had few email exchanges with them regarding custom software development on Rockmars platform and in its end I got a Live Messenger contact of some software guy there. That guy informed me that they have abondened Rockmars for Civic and instead coming up with new product. Rockmars is WinCE 5 based and the new product is WinCE 6 based.

The local reseller in Lahore also gave statements like new supply is not coming and they didnt had any unit in their stock and suggested to try different shops that might have the units on their shelves.

Last night when I went back to the same dealer from whom purchased, he said that buying back the unit won't be a problem but that its gonna cost me a loss of 7K. Disappointed big time, I was planning to get out of the shop when Allah Almighty showed his mercy on me. I somehow managed to get the unit exchanged directly with an extremely interested owner of an early 2011 Civic Oriel. This spotless, scratch-less baby is what I got (FOR Rs.9700/-):

I'm afraid this changer only comes standard in Oriels and not VTi. In the VTi you either get Kenwood as stock or opt for Sat Nav as an option.
