For information purposes,

A Civic 1.8 which has undergone over heating problems will display "ERROR 2" everytime you will do a meter diagnoses.
So before buying a second hand Civic, one should always do that check. It helps alot.
When i was searching for a civic few months back, i found 2 cars which this error. So I quitely disappeared.

There are other error's aswell. Someone with its technical manual will have a list.

Just went through the whole thread.. i must say you have done everything very tastefully.. Cause most civics and corollas for that matter that are upgraded or modified here are not done in a tasteful manner at all.. the car looks great and if i had the option i would do the same and get a vti rather than the oriel and be able to make it look the way i want. remember anyone with 2 mil can buy an oriel but not everyone can buy one and make it look the way you have

The illumination is way better and seems like digital. When you open the door the dial illuminates, when further insert the key, the blueish area near the needle lights up and when you turn in the key the whole thing glows beautifully. Plus if in future if I install cruise control with the help of zunny and you brothers, there are indicators for them as well.

Today we also learn that the cable reel/clockspring of oriel n i.vtec are diff n has only two wires coming out! So u'll most probably have to replace them for audio cons!

I dont think any person with a know how of cars will be fooled. Since when we put the car on "ON/II" All the indicators light for short period, if the engine check light doesnt appear then its evident that somethings wrong

Sardar's post pushed me to take some time out. I have limited budget this month and thinking that something is better than nothing and this is the thing that can be done atleast. So went to local Atlas dealer; they dont keep the "blank keys" in stock due to not so "in" item. They offered two deals; get the cuts from factory for 7300 or just order the blank key and then get the cuts locally. I opted for the first deal for which they asked for Engine/Chasis numbers and sample key. They have given me 15 days time.

Bought the oem key-less entry key today for Rs:6750. Got the lock/unlock button's to work my self. Will get the key coded and cut tomorrow as the coding person comes on Friday at the dealership i got it from..
