Bro if i am also thinking to change the coolant... He guy from HONDA told me that i should need to first fill the reservoir with coolant and need to drive my car normally for 1 or 2 weeks... Then i need to bring my car to HONDA and they will completely flush the cooling system (COMPLETELY), Then they will top up the radiator with coolant (MOST PROBABLY 50/50, GREEN ONE) and voila
P.S: Never ever fill the reservoir to maximum level recommended by HONDA , agr kia to waroo ga hi app :3

Your issue is mot related to coolant thats the first thing
Just get the radiator serviced run it on simple water for a week see if the issue resolves then just open the lower drain pipe when its a bit hot not entirely cold and let all the water drain...close the drain and top it up with coolant

Well I checked and found that one of the fan, the one that is on the passenger side wasn't working or rather was trying to run. Pls tell me that I don't need to change the fan and it's only something small like a relay or cable fault.

Well there you go. As I said if your engine is not heating up under hard driving, but only when the car is stationary then check the fans. Its the easiest thing to do.

If you go to Honda I am sure they will ask you to replace the whole fan which will be expensive. If you have a trusted roadside mechanic then he can replace just the fan motor. In my case, if I recall correctly, it cost me 1500 for a kabli one. It was installed back in 2014 and kept working until I sold my 8th Gen a couple of weeks ago. It could be a host of other things (relay, actuator and god knows what else) but in my case it was the fan motor.

Thanks man, u r a life saver... The fan on the driver side is not working What could be the possible solution and what can be the reasons behind it and how to figure it out
PLUS suggest the best coolant and why does all the reborns have common problem of STEERING OIL LEAKAGE and any solution for it or any DIY PRODUCT such as STP steering stop etc

For the fan, the most likely scenario would be that the fan motor is shot. See my post above, regarding that.

Coolant, I used Honda as well as Castrol, both were fine.

My car had slight power steering leakage, which I lived with for over a year. Finally, I got its power steering pipe as well as power steering pump seals changed, and this solved the issue. The pipe cost something like Rs. 8k and seals I think Rs. 5k.

Sai, plus one my friend is saying that only one fan works, the second one or both only works with the AC, The driver side fan is not related with ENGINE TEMP

Whats the solution for noisy auto tensioner??

Should one go for the complete assembly change or just changing the bearing would suffice?

I drove my car around the town and waited until the fan kicks on and one thing have noticed that both of the fans are working as the should... but the driver side one is not engaging as soon as the AC TURN ON otherwise it is working fine.
P.S: Still running on water..., and temp rising in traffic jams...

what is meant by auto tensioner? if you mean the power belt tensioner so you should wait for a couple of days as i am having also the same issue and every mechanic said to replace tensioner as a whole.but a fellow at honda told me that this tensioner dose not needs to be replaced some time it's rubber rings worn out because of that it makes noise. replacing them could solve the issue.so i got the rubber rings from honda dealership and will change in a couple of days if it worked i will share with you guys here.so stay tuned

both the fans works as the temperature gauge reaches to its level as to mid after that the second fan turns on for a while and then turns off .if you are facing issue you should check it.

Yes. Auto tensioner Also known as adjuster pulley. I am also given this impression to change complete assembly.

For how much did you buy the rings? Arnt there supposed to be bearings that could be replaced?

Hi Guys

Replaced my Gli with Civic Vti Oriel Prosmatec 8th generation. Need your help with the following:

1- keyless entry isn't working. The key has batteries but doesn't unlock or lock the car. Please suggest a fix.

2- When I turn the A/C to defog the windscreen the air keeps coming substantially through the normal vents. Plus the light under the fresh air, defogger buttons isn't working
