Got the cat-con cleaned. They tested with a meter. Reading should be within the green mark but it was going way beyond even the red.
They recommended tuning and throttle body cleaning too. I didn't want it initially but then thought what the hell, should get that done too while I am here. While tuning they recommended changing plugs, so got them replaced too with genuine plugs.
They put some wd-40 then removed the cat-con from the car and cleaned it with a brush thing. Then blew some high pressure air through it.
After cleaning the reading stayed around 0.5-1. Acceleration is now back to what it's like in a new car. Car has become very responsive. I hadn't realized over the years that how slow the acceleration has gotten.
