Max 12.80...i was getting vti oriel pros 2010 isb num, 160k km driven for 12 lac..it was 2nd owner and two doors were replaced. Rest it was in excellent condition. Now a days there is a large gap between manual n prosmatec prices.

Civic 2010 VTI Oriel Manual 87k done on odometer. petrol only using hi octane of PSO

when i am driving car, inside the cabin light boon boooon booooon kind of sound is coming. i got it checked by one of the mechanic. he said wheel bearings are gone and this sound is of wheel bearing. He said it will cost 12k to replace four wheels' bearing including his labor.(what should i do)

i am about to change brake pads so which brake pads should i use? the same mechanic asked me to use brake pads of (some kind of NK) company which will cost me 15 for both front and rear while original honda or nisin is expensive. Only front will cost me Rs. 3500. money is not an issue but want your opinion. If cheap will do the same job then why go for expensive. any other reason? please suggest.

If $ is not an issue straight away go to Honda 3S. You will be 100% satisfied. All of the above aftermarket stuff u mentioned will have some issues. Also get the sound checked from there.

Prosmatec has better resale for sure. But as for some people manual is suitable due to better response from car and better fuel efficiency be it +-10%

all bearings do not need to be changed. only the one which has issue if there is any in the first place.

the test is simple: put the car on jack (wheels up and free). put the car in neutral. put your hand on the shock bar above wheel. turn the wheel by hand. if there is grinding feeling on your other hand that is on shock bar the bearing is bust. repeat this for all 4 wheels. only change the ones which have issue.

regarding brake pads i chose bendix over nisin. they are the best quality and are available for half the price of orignals and they have worked best.

you can talk to Mr Rashid in FSD (03008582519) for getting bendix brake disks of your car. Can give my reference.

I also had a problem of strange sound inside the car which would increase with speed. I took it to Honda 3S and they checked that it is read bearing sound. By that time I myself was also convinced that it was bearing, watching few youtube videos :). Anyways, guy there told me only right rear one needs changed so i got it changed and the noise was gone. I think the bearing was for Rs 8000.

3S are always a rip off. an orignal bearing would have costed around 2.5-3.5 K and 1-1.5K labor to replace it :(.

Wheel Bearing, in rear ones its the complete wheel hub that they changed.
