Hi gents,

I am looking to replace front shocks of my car. My dealership is selling them for 24k.
Alif autos rawalpindi selling oem shocke for 21k.
Mehran autos 1s Rawalpindi selling them for 26k.

There are too many copy/counterfeit shocks in market. Could alif autos rawalpindi sell me inferior quality in 21k as compared to dealership?

My experience is very good with them. They straight away told me few Chinese things tht were packed nicely and written made in Thailand and usually sell as thai. I kno a Honda mechanic tht works on his holidays on cars illegally hehe he regularly buys from them and last time he told me his parts bill was around 8 lacs he is also happy with them. Baki for you own mental satisfaction 3k is nothing go with dealership... Did you check honda avenue? I was looking for front bumper and alif quoted me 6500 and Honda Avenue 6250 for my city.

Honda margalla is the cheapest. Im already at honda.margalla now getting oil changed. But getting mix response to change front shocks or not. They are saying physically shocks look ok but on driving and turns the car sway and body roll is too much also ride jumps too. I got rears changed but now dont know if change front or not just wondering if i end up changing fronts and problem still not resolved then what will i do.

Fronts would need change at this age. Replacing them will improve ride quality and comfort.

Dealership it is then. Bought front and right struts and got periodic maintenance done. My Girl will be 100k tonight.

I wont get replaced from them. Ill replace them myself when suns up or pay a mechanic to do so. Dealership charges 3k for replacement of each shock.

6000 for replacement, wow. It's not that complicated but does require a tool to tighten the spring and then open the mounts. I recommend getting in done from a pit stop or some good shop. I paid 1500 for both at a Honda pit stop.

Also see the condition of shock mounts when installing them. 100k driven its the right time.
