can any one tell me how much Gear oil required in 8th gen and which brand/grade to be used and what is the drain interval. Thanks.
If any one knows about the 7th gen please quote that too.

In case of gear oil, always use honda mtf/atf. 8th gen will take a little less than 2 liters and it will cost above Rs 2000. Dont know about 7th gen.

i'm very confused regarding its fuel average. mine is giving 7.5 to 8 km/liter.
is this average is fine or not?????
if not then give any suggestion.....

Yes got it last night did some adjustment and now the light is on a great coverage on road.
It has only one adjuster to adjust upward or downward. No left right adjuster available.
But for headlights there are both up/doen and left/right adjusters.

Bro if ur civic is prosmatec then maintain its RPM around 1.8- 2.0 k. and use very decent light foot while accelerating. maintain a balanced distance from cars infront and use minimum brakes it will save a lot of fuel.
If u r driving manual transmission then you can control fuel with light foot acceleration, change gears maximum arround 2.0 - 2.5k RPM try to drive in 5th gear most, Do not down shift if not needed.
Like i drive in fifth gear mostly maximum at 65 KMPH shift 5th gear. i drive @ 85-95 KMPH, and if i need to use brakes, keep the distance from next car. when u will leave accelerator it will automatically come down slowly so u will save brake pads, fuel....

Transmission oil Manual total 1.6 liters if automatic then it is 5.9 liters. That is what the owners manual says!
