The wavyness you see is actually called "orange peel". So called because of the paint finish resembling the texture of an orange peel, wavy with graininess. This can be rectified with wetsanding and compounding but not recommended on a new car.
To orange peel can be masked though with some regular waxing. As the reflections from the car might to some extent reduce orange peel being seen.
My 04 City had a much better paint job than my 13 city. The 13 city had a very bad paint job. It had a lot of orange peel, but i have been able to minimize it by nourishing the paint with waxes giving the paint deeper reflections.
On roads i have seen the paint job, newer cities are getting and it is absolutely horrible, the paint on civics are comparatively better though.
