I don't think so, manufacturer says you just change them at 100k but to be safe i got mine changed at 80k. I don't exactly remember them being cleaned in between. But just for the heck of it to be on a safe side, get them out and see if they need it. Which I doubt they may be needing and if that's needed at all which is one in a thousand chance, they will need replacement. It's not at all recommended to fiddle with them like cleaning and stuff.

Thanku so much for answering..another controversional question is whether u shuld put in an injector cleaner in the fuel tank or whether mixing high octane wuld do the same job???

To be honest i have never used injector cleaners. Some experts say a cleaner may bring damage to the parts as it has chemical properties of which extensive use may not be fruitful. Or the clogging may end up somewhere else.
However a fuel additive is a different story and may be used. But then again hi-octane probably ends up too as an additive. I myself have always opted for the hi-octane method, that too not pure but a mixture of max 50-50 with regular petrol.
But this is my opinion, not sure if right or wrong

Ali bhai it needs tuning plug change and throttle body cleaning and also tappet cleaning o2 sensor is fine .

Dont let anyone do the throttle body cleaning apart from honda neither the tappets or you will be having a dancing rpm...electronic tuning is what you need and for the plugs go for the bosch four tip plugs stock ones are also perfect

Ok guys here the update got my car tune .got tappet adjusted ,plugs clean and throttle body cleaned .The fuel smell from the tail pipe is gone and steam is produce which off-course is good ,but here's the problem i am facing rite now and that is the rpm ,rpm is idling at 1500 .What could be the reason is it because of the throttle body ? And also ecu has been reseted..

From where did you get it done.
Honda does a computerised throttle calibration after throttle cleaning. Did you do that ?

nope i got it done by my mechanic rest of the car is fine only rpm issue .i did face this issue before when i diy tuning of my 7 th gen civic before but i cant remember what i did to fix it .

7th gen is not Drive by wire
8th gen is Drive by wire.
Go to Honda and they will calibrate your throttle and it will be fixed.
they will charge you around 500 for this. its just a 10 minutes JOB

Honda walay har sheher mai hi chil utartay hain, don't tell them you got things done from your mechanic. Say you bought the car and it's rpm is disturbed all of a sudden.
If they insist and ask to let them check your things under hood, tell them I'm in a hurry and you just want computerised adjustment at the moment and rest can be done later.

Thank you ali bhia ,wasy ajj choti ki hai office sai i will try to do some mechanicy by myself .and will try to do the o2 sensor thingy that we discussed last night abhi ecu reset ker raha hoo just removed the battery terminal for 30 mins .let's see what happens .

Allrite guys here the update .After researching all night i fixed my rpm problem and yes i did reset the computer (ECU) the proper way at home .So this how i did it

1.disconnected the neg terminal .
2.Take a wire and touch one end of the neg ter and one end of the positive ter for about 10 secs

3.leave the car terminal off for about 20 mins but i left it for 30 mins since i started compounding my right fender .

4.attach the terminal back and wait a 2 mins before the next step .

5.put the key in the ignition 2 but dont start it leave it for about 10 sec so that the computer can get ready to fuction.

6.and then finally start the car with every electrical thing off .

1. leave it start for about 20 min so that the ecu can feed all the data .when the fan starts everything is back to its factory position .

my rpm are back to where is suppose to be ....

Every time I need to start my civic I do this. Anyone else does this?

I keep my car key in the ON position untill engine check light and airbag light turns off.
After that I turn the key to start the car.
I Never start it without this procedure.
A mechanic from honda factory told me to do this.

Well. I don't know. But the engineer from honda factory said it is good to do this and I do.
I did not ask the reason.
Waisay when u turn the key in ON position. Injectors start their work by spiting fuel and if you wait about 5 seconds. Your car should start sooner than not waiting for it.

The lighy takes much longer than 5 seconds, i just wait for a slight buzzing sound which goes away in a few seconds and then start. Car mileage is above 121,000 till today and (touchwood) never any unusual problems for starting without completely waiting the check engine light going out before starting. I just wait for that slight buzz sound to end.

Well I do and it has run 95,000 never missed a beep. No suspension work required. Everything in the right order.

I do change its engine oil between 2500 n 3000kms.

Baki every 40K tuning filters n fluid change.

Air filter changed before 7k.

Bought it new from dealership n always maintained by dealership.

Engine oil 5w30 API SM.

Oil filter used for two oil changes. Honda says to use their oil filter for 10000kms. I use it for 6 max
