You're wrong bro, gadha gaari does not need shocks replacement.
Lost email account on which my i.d ali.archilounge was based
OrChalani aati ho to pata chalay
Very very satisfied with regards to economy..Got 18.5kmpl from lahore to isloo..consumed less fuel than my bros honda city! Put him to shame;)
That only requires replacement of the gadha..the gari is invincible;)
Bro parts are easily available from bilal gunj.etc so it wont be a problem to get this car in okay condition
Have u touched 230? Pl share your experience.
I have touched 222, and it felt pretty okay but did just for maybe a few seconds
What tyres are you using?secondaly the tuck tuck u were telling abt is frm the bushes and afte rreplacing then u wont feel uncomfortable as u wont be hearing any sound and most of the mindset of shocks getting weak wull go away on itself...btw i would prefer orignal honda ones go to montgomeray and ask them for genuine shocks but not the ones with honda packing...whats the reading on odo btw?
My car gave me an avrg of 16 on my last trip frm fslbd to lhr and ac was mostly on avrg speed was arnd 130 many times took it to 150 and 160..highwst speed reached was above 200 once i dnt remember to what speed i wentIn city mine is giving 10 with ac as of now mixed driving excluding the red lining ddrive
I have touched 238 on the particular one i am having right now it didnt stop there i had to brake... somewhat of rpm was still left but didnt got a chance again to go at that speed...experienve was that it didnt give that feeling what most cars give wo jo feel hota k pathar b neche sy guzra gari hiljayegii...it was to the road but at that speed the scary part is always there due to mental thinking
I have max touched at 200 kmh, 197kmh in 4th gear (manual)
Im using advan db 13 manufacured..The main issue is that going over a speed breaker..the car shuld come done softly..with my car it passes very harshly..secondly the rear of my car is lifted..as compared to other 8th gens..it had spacers in the rear springs before but i removed them..still car seems like the new corollas rear:-(..reading on odo is 94k but not sure of tempering...
When coming down the breaker does it feel like the shocks will tear apart the engine bay?like they are not working at all and the car is running without shocks?
On the front it feels like that..and if i go a bit fast i hear a tuk sound also as if the shocks are bottoming out..even on road bumps it seems the shocks have no movement in them..also the car leans alot on taking turns...and also..car feels aalooot more comfortable when i have people sitting at the back..goes over bumps real softly then!
Exactly same issues in my car No problem at bk just get frnt bushes chng and get thr shocks repaired cost will be below 10k and will work like charm for minimum 50k kms
Isnt it better to get shocks of kyb brand..for just the front..and bushes?..repairing shocks seems like a big no no
Repairing is not kind of repairing like straighning them up...i think its just the refilling of gas whatever it is...and abt chngng i will always say get genuine ones...bushes get new there are only two and price for each is arnd 1200...did u get the estimate for shocks?
Oem ones from honda cost 11k per shock..without the spring..so thats 44k for 4 shocks..
I will check with honda point tomorrow for the genuine ones but not in honda packing...those are made by same company and same specs just sold in the companys packing and are the third of price compared to honda
Guys, need help over here!
