let me know please should i go for throttle body cleaning and injector cleaning..
1 mechanic ustad said that dont messed with these things until or unless it creates a problem..

haven't felt that any jerks so far.. but i wanted to keep it as in perfect condition having no error..

kindly educate me more about it..

First of all congrats on ur purchase bro..Secondly if u dont feel anything in the car and if previous service history is available thrn u dont need to do anything..But for piece of mind u should go to honda 3s and have its 100k service done if not carried out before..Injectors dont require cleaning if the car is run on petrol but u can put a can of Liqui moly injector cleaner in the tank and fill up the fuel tank..hope that helps!

Congrats on the purchase

The 100k service involves spark plugs
However 120k service involves transmission oil, throttle body, fuel filter amd tuning (same service at multiple of every 40k)
So first thing would be to get the plugs checked and then opt if you have to go for the 120k service for your peace of mind and safety

Better change all oils and plugs and filters. Adjust tappet and clean throttle and catalytic convertor. (If you don't have a service history )

Thanks brother. for your all details regarding maintenance.
Yup i did change there transmission oil aswell as engine oil power staring oil,oil/air filter/spark plugs also changed and Engine coil is being changed ...

the car also run's on cng by the previous owner so still should i go for tappet adjustments .. throttle body cleaning..

what else should i take care of it as there is no maintenance history available.

i was told by some one liqui moly isn't that good i mean it doesn't make any impact on injector cleanings.. injectors should be cleaned by mechinic manually not through liqui moly..

I'll be soon joining this club (Inshallah) as I've decided to buy an 8th Gen (Reborn-marketing tag line) Civic. My preference is manual tranny Oriel. As im used to driving manual transmission so it doesn't bother me & another important reason is manual being more fuel efficient. I know prosmatic is more fun to drive and more resale value. I've shortlisted 3 manual Oriels about 40K, 50K & 62K driven, having 2010, 10 & 2009 models respectively. All of them have Silver color except the one which is 40K driven, it has Beigh Gold color which i don't like much. But this one is as good as new like under 15K driven. The price he's asking is too much i.e. 1.6 million. My price idea is not more than 1.5M. Dealers for this type of cars say it's not more than 13.5 or 1.4 maximum (Dealers mostly give a price which is unexceptable for sellers).
My questions to all the fellow members (especially from ISB / RWP) is:
1. What should be the price of this Beigh Gold colored Civic (its not that ugly color)?
2. Is it worth buying a Civic in mint condition at higher price?
3. I heard that 2011&12 have better fuel economy Prosmatic & manual both, is it true? 2007-08 are bad at fuel and also have other manufacturing faults, if yes then what about 2009-10 at fuel economy?
4. Anyone from Isb / Rwp can suggest me Oriel manual/prosmatic.
I hope ur experience can guide me to get a nice Civic.

Reborn's manual is not your regular manual gearbox and clutch, it's very hard and a pain to drive. It feels like driving a tractor. I prefer manuals but I sold mine after 7-8 months and bought prosmatec. Also it takes long time and effort selling it, took me 3 months to get decent offer.

As new as it just came out of showroom, also interior. Somehow im more inclined towards it. For resale color matters alot.

I dont think upgrading rim size matters. Also dont listen to anyone telling you realistic price of this car as 13 to 14. Civic in particular 8th gen sells on condition. A guy recently bought 2011 Vti Manual for 15 lakh and then sold it for 1450 after using for 5 to 6 months. So civic is all upon condition, If you want a good car just pay a good amount for it, Dont listen to dealers or any X, Y or Z. One pwer fellow recently got Oriel Pros for 1.9 million.

So in regard to your first wuestion, I've attatched a pic that i guess is your mentioned color and see how good the car looks.
Regarding second question, Yes it is worth buying civic at higher price in mint condition as ive mentioned in previous post.
On your third query, I will say manual civic gives a very decent fuel average particularly on ling routes, If you drive the car decently it will give good average.
Coming on to last thing, Well i have a few lahore reg cars in my sight.

Agreed...Reborn Manual is worse in driving...due to its HARDEST CLUTCH...u will never experiance such a hard cluth and rough gear shifting in any car present in our market.Strongly NOT REC for normal person.
