if remote is out of range then nothing will happen,that is u wont be notified
with other remotes the car just makes sound but this remote you get notified with the vibration on remote n lcd shows if some1 opened any door or is hitting it
how thief breaks through it,no idea,they would know better

Bro install a jet black paper on the small window which they usually break and weld a thick steel sheet inside that of same size and shape. A professional welder can perform this job very well after that you can paint it from inside or paste a jet black paper on it as well.

Has anyone did it.. and is it workable and effective

I will prefer the idea of having a security system alarm with bonnet.So when the bonnet gets open the siren will be on bcuz the thieves open the bonnet first and disable security system

i dont think that would be effective
cox once bonnet is opened even if it makes noise,they'll quickly remove the wires
whenever i sit in car,most of the times it makes noise because of auto lock option n no1 around u or in market really cares

in that case my steel mate 2 way remote is effective because it vibrates if something hits the body
+ when u press lock on it,screen becomes green n it shows car is locked but this happens only when car is in range so if u get this sign,you know your car is parked,i do this in market as well to check car is safely parked n not gone

According to me One of the Best Solutions for in Home Theft of Car I came up, Might You Buddies like it:

1.Also INSTALL an ALARM Switch which turns on when the BONNET is Opened, Why? Mostly the First step of thief is to Cut off the Power wires of the Battery, to diffuse Alarm & the Movement Sensors(Like When some one Hits your Car Body Hardly,it turns on, Atleast in my car). Im pretty much sure that the alarm should turn on when the Back Window was Smashed or when the door is opened, why it didn't worked? Battery Power Diffused.

2.Try to purchase a different sounded Loud Horn, & attach it with Security System. Because whenever we hear the Typical Sounded Security Alarm we can thought its some one else's car not ours.
Otherwise it totally depends on your Luck! May ALLAH ALMIGHTY save us all!! AAMEEN

Well awais bhai ! At least by Making one Loud Noise when its parked at home, will alert the Sleepy Heads!!

Sometimes it happens when cat jumps on to the car & alarm activates, or when sencors feel any other Jerk . But its for some seconds.But when someone opens the door then it wont stop unless the Button on remote is pressed. For disconnecting the wires the Clippers should be of Best Quality & Firmly Attached,at least it will take some more time. & last but not least, may be the thief isn't expecting it.

some1 told me that he did some alterations to his swift,which was that he made a chor switch,i dont remember the details,but it was like which was directly from battery or something extended till inside the car at which ever place u want,n until u switch that on,no matter they direct the wires or whatever they cant start the car,but i couldnt understand how to explain it to the electrician

so far em using steelmate 2 way lock
steering lock
gear lock ( with handbrake)
+ the most effective thing which is to keep some1 in car always whenever parked outside anywhere

Well its a relief that they got their car back atleast. So guys here's my story. My car toyota corolla (ST-91) black 2.0D 2010 model was stolen from my house on Nov 29th 2010 the same way as the above car. we tried everything but had no luck. now wait here's the catch, ON 19th APRIL 2011, i spotted my car in saddar Rawalpindi, it was bearing a lahore number with LEGAL/ORIGNAL PUNJAB plates (LE-10-649) I chased it and guess what, The car stopped at the house of (ex DG ISI) GENERAL RETD HAMID GUL's daughter, UZMA GUL (owner of VARAN travel in Rawalpindi). I called up my father and we tried to talk it out with that ***** Lady, but she was reluctant to talk or even negotiate as she said her husband was out of pindi, when he returns then we can sort it out. Our badluck was that my father didn't call the police as he trusted her words as she was the daughter of HAMID GUL (ex DG ISI). now cutting the story short, they sent the car somewhere else, the car was sent the very next day it was spotted and the case is still going on in the court.

the sad part is that our beloved police is afraid to even ask them as she is the daughter of a general. Everything we tried is in vain. Ye tou halat hai hamaray mulk k hafizon ki..
