this is a chassis swap job if the VIN you posted is correct.

The ball you see is the swivel ball, its actually a CV joint - and in this case looks like its excessively leaking or this has never been serviced in the past 5 years

by the looks of it, it is similar to a toyota solid front axle used on LCs. could be that the inner axle seal has failed and gear oil is mixing with cv grease. i did that service on my prado. very messy.
