The red tape in this country is unbelievable! All that was needed was a visit to the MTMIS and check the ownership. The second thing would be to notify all officers and toll plazas with the reg plates.
But NO! They will write a letter after the vacations to respective Excise offices which will get routed through various "proper channels" etc.
My guess is that nothing will happen. I once made the mistake of calling Motorway Police to report an overspeeding and zigzagging bus full of people. They started with asking for my name, phone number, my car reg number, which city I was from and where I was going. The bus was still visible and I kept telling them it's right there. Told them the location as well.They told me to stop at Bhera and report to a patrol car. The patrolling officer was unconcerned and started my interview, and then said "Ap ne usko roka kiun nahin" and Ap usko rok ker apnay saath yahan laatay. The mentioned bus was at the same rest area but they casually said we will take action if we receive more complaints.
