Hahahaha... Very right.
But on a serious note, whatever has been said and discussed in this thread is correct. All members are righteous in their own opinion. Everybody like us wants change from status quo and betterment of systems. But it's a dream far from reality.
We have been let down by all governments and regimes. Individuals who are at the helm of affairs have only made money and took care of their vested interests. Like @uzeemujeeb I am also a rebel in my work place, where we are compelled to violate rules and favor the influential each day. Sometimes I become so disheartened that I seriously think of taking early retirement and opening a small stationery shop. I feel that I am just counting my days till retirement, that's it. No initiative, no drive whatsoever.
I see individuals on higher posts having no opinion on system's improvement. They discuss American politics and compare policies of Democrats and Republicans during office timings, but have no vision whatsoever to change work ethics of their own office. On their retirement we throw parties and make speeches on their 'invaluable contributions' and how they raised the department from scratch, and that the gap left by their absence shall never be filled. They leave the organization while weeping. Then others get promoted to take their place to start a new circus. This vicious cycle goes on and on and on...
But I have concluded that I can play my part by grooming my children to follow the right path; not to violate traffic laws, not to throw garbage on roads, not to smoke in public places, not to snatch an opportunity by stepping on others etc. I believe this is the best I can do under these state of affairs.
