Let me mention the attributes of above M38A1:
Original frame, first time restored/colored. The only alteration in it is the diesel engine (Toyota Hilux 2400cc)
Original body first time restored. no alteration in body.
2003-2004 army auction, registered in the same year. Returned file, computerized book. tax paid.
Engine as good as brand new. Recently installed some 5 months back, zero back compression, checked myself. Without heater start.
Gear original M38A1. 4x4 working perfectly. Checked myself after engaging. No sounds of rattling etc when engaging 4x4.
Both differentials original, no sound in differentials, no rattling or humming at high speed.
The suspension was really good as i hardly felt any bumps/shocks when i took it on a bumpy road.
The seats are very well restored, very soft and comfortable. was giving a feeling to be sitting in it rather than on it.
Adjustable steering wheel, MMC. Whole assembly.
Tyres as good as new. Spare wheel missing. No problem.
Jerry can, spade, axe, fire extinguisher, ammo box, antenna, all hooks on front and rear bumpers. Genuine front fendor lights, side mirror, belts etc all were there. Extra protection guard on front also installed.
