Day 02

We stayed as guest in sharda and our host was relative of a guy i know here in Lahore. He gave us a very warn and generous reception and unforgettable hospitality. Thanks to him. He is the owner of Khwaja medical store next to govt. boys high school. I remember that my ankle was swelling and I was having pain (it was the result of football that I played in Lahore 2 days before leaving :), so don't play football before leaving :P)... and he dressed it twice without any charges

If anyone go there and meet him, say my salam to him

After waking up in the morning on second day we had breakfast and our plan was to visit Sharda fort. It is a few minutes gentle walk from there.

so its early morning of day 4 and we are in taobut.... we started our journey back to muzafarabad.... we reached sharda and left the hired jeep there and then we hired a taxi till kundal shahi from sharda and continued our journey ahead... we reached kundal shahi in the night and stayed in a hotel...

i have seen honda civic there in kel during my trip... i have also attached that pic in some previous post... but the guy with the civic was not happy as he was cursing the roads... not sure about current conditions... i don't think that there are any improvements considering the last year's flood factor too...

i think people go but car ki ma bhen ek ho jati hai chali to wahan mehran bhi jati hai... lekin ye sab cars siraf kel tak ja sakti hein....only jeep after kel...

3. How many days is sufficent from Lahore to Taobat Lahore.

Sorry for the delay...I sent you a PM and you can find my contact number in there... here are the answers of your questions...

1. As far as I know, there is no good transport service from Lahore to Muzafarabad. My suggestion is to go to Islamabad first. From Islamabad hiace will take 4 hours to Muzafarabad via Muree.

2. Jeep rent per day will be around 2.5k to 3k with fuel from Muzafarabad. We hired jeep from Sharda on same rate for 2 days.

3. You can make your trip from Lahore - Taobut - Lahore in 5-6 days. We did it in 5 days.
