Honestly, the milleage reflected on the display is rarely accurate, I have checked it a few times as own a similar vehicle, and there is a variation of around 10-15% even though I fill up petrol from the same gas station. Often JDM owners claim that the fuel average displayed, corresponds to the actual fuel consumption,hard for me to chew on. Cutting it short, my 9th gen does 8-9 within city (stop-go driving), and 12-13 on the motorway.

There is an error of 5-8% between car's guage and when calculated manually. Like when car is around 16 kmpl .. actual avg will be around 15.4-15.5 kmpl

Yaar I dont remember the name of the shop but it is on fazal e haq road ( road behind blue area )

Another myth justifying the high fuel conumption is the tyre size and profile. Ideally, it should not hit engines above 1.5L. Our manufacturers often refer to it to cover up for poor configuration, genrally poor quality of fuel and inconsistancies in fuel storage and fuel dispensing are factors that contribute to poor mileage. When I asked the honda dealership about the high fuel consumption, the instant response was that you are not using the recommended rim and tyre size, whilst the recommended rim size for this car is 17" with a tyre size of 215/50 which is what I am using. In Thailand, the top of the line range of the 9th gen comes with 17" rim size.
