Ok, the Ravi bike is about to complete 1000 kilometers (current meter reading is 913 km) so here is my review and experience:
Initial Running:
From first 200 kilometers, my average speed was 45 km/h (that means 40 to 50 km/h was the speed bracket)
From 200 to 500, average speed speed was 50 (that means 45 to 55 km/h was the speed bracket)
Oil changed when odometer reading was 326 to zic 20w-40.
After completing 500 km, I pushed the bike with very, very slow acceleration to 70 (done only once).
After completing 500 kilometers,
going to 50 km/hr speed was without any trouble then bike asks for a pretty wide open accelerator to go beyond 55/60 km/h speed.
up-to the speed of exact 50, there are no vibrations.
After the speed of 50, I started noticing kir-kir sound from engine and vibrations starts to build up. At the speed of 60, vibration was pretty noticeable.
After completing 700 kilometers, my average speed was 60 (that means 55 to 65 speed bracket).
After completing 800 kilometers, my average speed was of 65 (that means 50 to 70) - vibrations that starts to build up after 50, now starts to build up after 60. At this point, I notice no vibrations up-to the speed of 50 and unnoticeable vibrations from 50 to the speed of 60. After 60, vibrations become very noticeable.
Fuel Economy:
Initial tank fill was of 10 liters (half liter from the dealer and 9.5 from the petrol pump).
First refill was of 8.21 liters when odometer was on 466.3 (average: 56.80)
second refill was confusing (I think, I got ditched but I'm not sure).
Second refill was of 7.23 when odometer was on 868.7 (average: 55.67) costing Rs. 470 (when I saw the meter of petrol pump) but petrol pump guy has charged me 570 - when I asked him to show the meter, the other guy was already started filling other bike - he then he got confused so I'm not sure what's the average of second refill. If actual petrol fill was of Rs. 570 then it means the 8.83 liter was poured into the bike that makes the average of 45.46.
Vibrations - @salmanrasheedpsh, it's for you, buddy.
Initially, vibrations starts to build up at the speed of 45, after few couple hundred kilometers, vibration starts on 50 then on 55 and now vibrations start at the speed of 60
I'll update my review again after the first service and then later after completing 2000 kilometers on this bike.
Top Speed:
After completing 850 kilometers, I tried to achieve the top speed with with normal acceleration (I mean, throttle was not 100%) and I managed to push the bike to 80 km/h. Then I open the throttle to full and then the bike goes to 82/83 km/h.
Question about OIL Capacity & Quantity:
I used to buy 1 liter of oil when owning GS150 & YBR but for this bike, owner manual says the oil capacity is 0.8 liters and in the market, I can't find any oil which comes with 0.8 liter box. Most of the oils comes either with 0.7 or 1.0 liter.
So, if you know any oil that comes with 0.8 liter box, please mention.
