i have heard that liana vurv(the newer ones) has different ecu map.what do you say about this??

u heard it right new liana vuru /swift have different software the problem with older software was the lower end torque was not good enough to get a good pick in second gear on cng that was rectified later

well a fully problematic car but if its a Vurv version and that too throughout petrol driven then its worth going..avoid 6-7 models and that too on CNG

liana rxi with stock stell 14" rim has bad grip but if someone shift to 15" alloy like international suzuki liana/aerio then no grip issue I my self have taken my liana upto 130km/h with 14" stock alloy that come with LXI and suzuki liana was also available in 2000cc diesel engine with 145hp and 2300 engine with 155hp according to wikipedia

Mere ek dost ne literally apni 2006 liana bech k Vxr mehran khareedi thi wo bhi 2009 men. Aap behtar samajh sakte hain k aap ki car kitni achi hai. Liana men M13A ho, M16A ho ya Phir F-16 ka engine Liana ki resale nai barhne waali. Or jis car ki resale nahi wo car bekaar hai, rx-8 being the biggest example of it.

Your logic is genuine. Filhal I don't have documentary evidence to back my claim. I'll see what can I find. Another thing I remember from "heat dispersion" is that early Lianas used to drink the coolant emtying the reserve bottle instead of circulating it in the system, WHich would eventually cause the car to overheat damage the gasket

the reservoir bottle is an expansion tank and the only reason for the engine to suck it dry is that its not filled up correctly. I have only seen one brand new car that did that - it was a cultus carby and apparently it was "repaired" at the showroom before delivery. They forgot to bleed it and it was short about a litre of coolant.

when you talk on manufacturer level faults it should not be vague like - coolant tank would be dry etc but more like design faults.

e.g. the toyota 2az-fe engine I recently repaired has a design fault in the early engines and it causes the head bolt threads in the intake manifold side of block to strip when it cycles through thermal changes in its life.
