Takht –e- Babri

Lying 30 miles southwest of Chakwal on the Chakwal-Sargodha road, Kallar Kahar is known for its peacocks, for its freshwater lake, and for the Takht-e-Babri, a flat stage built of stone by emperor Babar to address his army while coming down from Kabul in the quest of the crown of Delhi. During his stay at Kallar Kahar, Babar planted a garden, which still exists, called the Bagh-e-Safa. In his memoirs, the Takht-e-Babri, Babar described Kallar Kahar as a "charming place with good air" and natural beauty

The Area is famous foe Peacocks - while on takht -e- babri we heard few and see some in far away trees but unable to capture one

But when down on road see many in trees around the road but they move away by the noice of car But one courageous one came on road so we get a snap

The rent at TDCP - is Rs. 2,500/ per night - one matteress is provided free - rooms are clean and neat all basic facilities are there
for family they quite good and secure
as the motel is bit high on small mountain all sides are covered with wall - Rooms are on first floor with large terrace and dining hall so it is well fit for families

When after few KM the view open ups

this wonderful view was there

the village and small towns were spread over the small hills and plains were filled with grass and animals grazing there

the white house and land scape looks like some ares of Italy and Spain - Wao wonderful
