@aukhan75
permisiion tu nai cahihiay is area ko visit karnay kay liay army ke??? is it open zone till olding and skilma????
I have only gone upto Tarkati village which is just ahead of Khamush. There was only one army checkpost at Tolti and they did not stop me. I have been told that no special permission is required to visit these areas. You only have to prove your identity and they make an entry about you in the register.
@aukhan75 : Thank you for a cool and refreshing thread in this hot weather...
Thanks.
This is not a particular peak. One of the many in Baltistan.
I took this shot near Kharmang and Kargil peaks are not visible from there. They are visible when you reach Khamush.

Zabadast trip especially with the kids dear
Thanks for sharing the less explored/un explored areas with us.You did your self asigned job very well (Y)
very nice trip. Please tell me "Kharmang Valley" located at Skardu~ Kargil~ "Ladakh" city road ? Please also inform me about Skardu~Ladakh road has it been opened now for all vehicles till up to Ladakh?
Thanks & best regards,
Yes, Skardu-Kargil road passes through the Kharmang Valley and the road is open up to LOC. Don't know about the road beyond LOC. I think there is no border crossing at that point.
lovely explore
