Its important to obey road signs at any place, but particularly on the motorway. Entry and exit ramps tend to be quite small and tight in Pakistan, hence the mandatory 50km sped limit. The condition of the tyres (and type), plus inflation pressure play a part in overall performance and safety. Overloading can disturb the handling dynamics of the car too. Pakistanis routinely stuff extra people and luggage into small cars not designed for such heavy loads. Heavy suitcases PLUS the added weight of the CNG cylinder takes care of the rest of its 'safety!'
I am not for or against the Corolla, but perhaps these factors should be taken into account before blaming the car.
