Three of our members had a plan to return from here due to other commitments but Khan sb didnt want them to go back without experiencing camping so dcided to continue till Jhalkad where we were to camp for the night. It turned out to be an excellent decision, I dont know about others but for me that ride from Naran to Jhalkad was out of the world experience, one of the best rides I have ever done. It was quite scenic but all others were so eager to reach Jhalkad before dark that they didnt give any margin for stops. I was enjoying so much that I didnt worry about anything and rode at my own pace.Thank u Khan sb once again because any other time and that ride wouldnt have been the same, time of the day was big factor in making that ride so magical.

Zhob to D I Khan is 225 kms and the road is just fine if not very good. It took me little over 3 hours to complete that section. It gets very interesting in the area of Danasar where it enters the Suleman range.

I didnt face any problem there apart from D I Khan trouble I mentioned. But people try to avoid this route due to its proximity to Waziristan and the situation in DI Khan but I think it is not that bad and u r right about this being the shortest route.
