and result was success, well almost, when i plugged the grip into the relay it refused to get in due to burnt connectors i took down the fuse box but didnt have easy access to remove and replace the relay and being stuck in too much stuff opened the engine compartment and removed a spare relay an plugged it in and it worked like a charm, will replace the original relay with appropriate one some other time.
