Evacuate the system fully, change the drier/filter unit along with fresh O-rings, replenish the oil level, vacuum the system with the help of vacuum pump for 5-10 minutes at least, check for leaks and fill the system by weight.

I did this already almost 1 month ago. shall I do it again? The "Ac Wala" just removed the gas after which hissing started. This is why I was asking whether I shall get it refilled fully or keep it as it is for now?

Don't bother whether the compressor is weak or not, if it is in good health along with other important parts of the system such as the TxV, it must work perfectly.

Yeah I thought the same thing. I'll keep on using it as it is for now as my usage is just 2-3 times a month for 30-40 kms in total. I'll arrange a spare perfectly working AC compressor in the coming winters though when they get really cheap and get a full fresh overhaul of everything done before start of the next summers in sha Allah!

Then just fill the system untill the high and low side pressure readings match with the online available charts values at different ambient temperatures and humidity levels.

So, you mean that the thing "If we fill the AC system fully, compressor may malfunction because of high pressure, so we should keep some space in there" is BS? I shall get it filled to recommended pressure values?

Yes, you should fill it up to the recommended values either pressure wise or by weight (recommeded method).

A failing compressor won't work in either case be it filled fully or partially with refrigerant.

the ac amplifiers this old are known to go bad, its a cheap and simple thing to replace and check

there is no certain way to diagnose these, but you've done almost everything else
