It works perfectly fine unless you press the accelerator to the floor or let it idle for a long period, remember it's a 660cc...

its a 660 car at the end of day. If u drive a japanese 660 u wil experience the same thing. Their performance is nil in our hot summers.

First of all, AC performance of a car is not related to its engine CC. Compressor needs a fixed amount of threshold HP which can be provided by any engine producing enough power. Secondly, paksuzuki has done a good job in alto by designing thin fin condenser that dissipates heat pretty easily. I have both pkdm wagonR 2018 model (33k driven) and pkdm alto vxr, on a hot sunny day altos ac outperforms wagonRs ac in cooling affect. WagonR has better blower throw though, maybe due to lack of cabin filter. AC in alto definitely performs better than ac in jdm 660s

New alto`s AC is gazillion times better than that in old cultus.

Ac performance of new alto 660cc vxr in hot summers is below average if its parked. 2ndly when a person is driving then it starts cooling other wise no cooling. My car is just 2 months old having 4000km driven

Ecus in new cars trip the AC if idle duration is long. Yes it hurts in our summers but that is done to conserve engine life

hello... i hope u guys are all in good health... i have recently purchased alto vxl variant and as far as the ac query is the performance of it is quite satisfactory; am from Karachi so we have a lot of traffic jams and it does not effect the cooling at all.

Recently drove my friends Alto 660cc from Karachi to Hyderabad. To my surprise it outperformed all the other 660cc hatchbacks that I have driven which include Mira ES, Move Custom, Alto, N box, Wagon R.
The performance was even better than my 1000cc Passo 2008.

yes... that what i liked about the car... the little car has a lot of room and sufficient power for city driving it is still in running period. before this car i had santro which i had purchased in 2008 new ... so if i compare the ac with santro and the 86 corolla which i also have; the performance of ac is amazing

I bought the blue Santro club in 2006 (zero meter). AC of Alto VXL is much better.

nice... currently its like 35 to 36 degrees in the afternoon and i have been driving in the afternoon when the heat is at max and so far the ac performance has never let me down; i am actually amazed at the performance.

I drove it in afternoon when the peak temperatures were around 44 45, it didnt disappoint one bit.
