an accident caused by negligence of rich, and a weaker pays the price.

the drivers is underage, but there should be a strong penalty on his/her parents/guardians leaving a teaching for junglees around.

Nothing can happen legally, it is an accident case not first degree murder so no anti terrorism clause will be added, boy will be pardoned after payment of diyat.

I dont know about rest of Pakistan but traffic police in lahore is completely useless. All they do is put speedcams and control traffic when lights are out. Sometimes they will be sneaking in a corner to catch people who are using mobile phones. But even then they only stop people in small cars.

They dont give a shi t about people who cut traffic lights, people who drive recklessly, people with high beams making roads unsafe for others, people with tinted windows who are a security risk for others (for a number of reasons). In other countries there is a limit of tint you can have and the police have a scanner to determine the legality of tints.
Even if someone is driving the wrong way on a one way road police wont stop them. (Except if you are near mall road).

There is a whole list of things police should do but they dont. e.g. they cant even enforce helmets on bikers.

I really think that we need a bunch of CCTV cams on the roads and we need to automate the speedcams and traffic signal violations through cameras.

Sir it's a law.
It's murder case if you don't have license and kill someone in accident. Either it's your mistake or not.
If tried in Anti Terrorism Court then juvenile(under 18) can be death sentenced.

It was an ACCIDENT. They did not drive the car into them. The car spun as can be seen due to unknown reasons. These kids look pretty upset about it to me. People saying "banday mar diye", learn the difference between manslaughter and murder.

Although that said these kids were committing a crime by driving without a license.

there is no doubt that an underage kid was driving without license. but as per the footage it seems to be an Accident of being uncontrolled drive, car didnt hit the bikers directly it keep rolling and may be can fell off the bridge. listen to the driver atleast may be the car gets out of control in saving someone else.

just because there was a girl inside a car everyone start shouting. 95% of this thread posters has been dating in their teenage, this could had happened with you as well. and i am sure atleast 75% of guys posting in this thread were driving since they were 14-15.
look into yourself first before pointing out others.

issue is with the system, it should be strict enough that no one could skip it. My sympathies are with the families of 2 young guys being dead. May God give them courage to bear the loss and help them from some other path.

The ones commenting here and on fb judge before looking at themselves. Khud larkioun ko tang karte call kar kar ke aur yahan judge karne agaye. It was a f****** accident! He didn't do it on purpose. This bridge is slippery already. No one takes that into account! The people in the video are literally harassing them. For the ones making a video- call an ambulance ffs rather then making a video! Who knows, they may have had something left in them?

Maybe just maybe if we look at the bigger picture we might find out that the only fault of the Corolla's driver was being underage. And the main culprit could be Indus motors. We all know the quality of cars and level of quality assurance here in Pakistan, especially Indus motors cause I myself have been victim of their poor QA. Pledged myself not to buy Toyota again.

All things aside. I feel very sad for the two souls who lost their lives. Kisi ko nae Pata us ki kb ki likhi hai. May Allah forgive their sins and give courage to their family.

The boy was probably on a date and was trying to showoff. Dwarf sized teenagers these days think they can do anything and it's so cool. Size dekho inka and they wanna go on date because OMG it looks so cool. 2 men died and punishment should be served. If boy was on the driving wheel he should be sent to prison for life and if he's underage his father should face the punishment of life in prison. If girl was on driving side same punishment.

302 is only in intentionally killing..
And
A person, who commits qatl-i-Khata by rash or negligent driving is not* only liable to diyat, but is also punished with imprisonment, which can extend to ten years.U/S 319 PPC

Traffic in our country is outrageous, these things happen all the time, just because it involves a rich family's children, we have a right to bash them? Its an utter shame!
As long as everyone is pointing fingers towards the law and possible causes, those bikers weren't wearing helmets, had they been doing that, would have probably lived.
So please, pray for the departed, we are all civilized people here, lets not create a fuss and point fingers. Jo hona tha hogya, it was an accident and nothing more, try and accept that if you can't, i pray that the Almighty helps you in seeing the light
