well, the good part is that Allah has given your brother a second life. & as far as the quality is concern i think in local industry honda is still at high level as compared to other companies toyota etc. but yes manufacturing errors do exists you should take up this matter with HONDA locally and internationally dont leave it like that. its not about money its about people LIFE.

On my last visit to Pakistan saw many Youngs driving very harsh in city roads & streets with no fear.This accident is a example for us. I am sure left axcel break is not the reason of accident.Many members must know the reason after seeing pictures but they dont want to be in any kind of word war.
Those cars in Pakistan are not even worth to ride.Dont blame only Honda or any maker for that coz we are also responceable.I hate those peoples always says that we have no other choice.You are selling your & ur family lifes to those Bastards building cheap cars like mehran,alto,mira,city & other crap.This can happen to anyone anytime anywhere.Safety in Pakistan is end users concern not car makers they are busy in making money.

The way your car looks,i am 100% sure your brother just started to drive recently few years ago he loves modification & fast cars but from no onwards hel understand whats the end of fast and reckless driving.Well my suggestion is to all car freaks out there.Dont race on public streets and try to showoff by doing high speeds.Try doing burnouts and slow speed drifts.Even if the car gets hit,it would only suffer minor dents.I had a major accident around 4 years back on my honda civic 2000 vti oriel.I was racing a corolla.We both were doing around 120kmp/h at around 1: 00am at seaview.A big roundabout came up suddenly,there were no streets lights.The 2007 1.8 corolla guy immediately took a sharp left,thats what i tired to do buy i had unfortunately poor general tyres in my civic 2000 that time and they were all ***** up by drifting so i lost the grip the car skidded and went straight for the roundabout and me n my car was screwed big time!It took 150k to get the axel,chassis,brakes,rims,bumper & some few engine parts to get replaced & repaired.If i had giving my civic to honda company they would have easily made a bill not less then 300k

@all, okay stop blaming Honda and Toyota for this, theek hai poor quality, but wat simple person can understand is that the tyre bursted at that kinda speed which made the car flip on the left side. even a billion dollar car wud break the hub nd an axel in such a situation.

@zarak, first u blame General tyres, then ure saying u **** them by drifting. then how the hell are General tyres responsible for ur accident, or are u trying to say, imported tyres dont get ***** by drifting?

To all Honda lovers, is this the quality of honda you praise for, couple of new citys car completely burnt due to short circuit now axle breakage.

@All, 110 - 120 is a normal speed that everybody goes on highways, beyond that is risky manuavour. and its not a driver fault if some thing like this happens.
you should get your car repaired from honda, or else take them to court. due to this fear they will do it for free i guess..

where did he say that this happened on the motorway/highway? those roads are designed for fast driving, however normal roads are not and if he was driving at those speeds on roads which are designed to be driven on at city speeds then there is a high chance that this is what caused the failure.

don't get me wrong, i'm on his side since these cars (regardless of road conditions) should be able to stand up to this kind of usage for at least 10 years before parts start to fail.

no doubt you SHOULD take legal action against the manufacturers and file a police report as well where it states that the accident was caused by a defective part.
