101 % agree Brother... Even In ISB I see so many cars back side of showroom open for repair & after successfully done.. 4 sale.... Think abt it. Some are Flood affected some are nuclear reactor affected some are accidental ...1 % of the car are neat from top to bottom..

We still believe a paper sheet called ACTION SHEET as a birth certificate...

But what i believe is if a car is repaired by an expert and it was not too much accidental so its no problem you get it because after all you have to buy a car just try to find a car with airbags and where in islamabad are they repairing cars i also want to see em kabhi nahi dekhi

But what i believe is if a car is repaired by an expert and it was not too much accidental so its no problem you get it because after all you have to buy a car just try to find a car with airbags and where in islamabad are they repairing cars i also want to see em kabhi nahi dekhi

Go to G-9 on the opposite life side of PWD office 2 dealors are there... one is also doing aligment u will see some cars in side the area & other at back side of that plaza...

Thanks for bringing this up. I purchased a Daihatsu Mira Custom about a year ago and while searching for a suitable car, I saw more than 15 cars, only one of them had not been in an accident while all the others had been in some sort of accident (not major). Finally settled for a car that had been in a minor accident but it was an acceptable compromise considering the condition of the car. A few weeks back, the Mira's passenger side seatbelt would not retract. I opened the cover and discovered that the seatbelt had been repaired locally.

These sealtbelts have pre-tensioners which deploy in case of an accident. After the pre-tensioner has deployed, the seat belt will not retract and needs to be replaced along with the airbag (if it has deployed). However, its nothing that our desi jugaar baaz mechanics cannot solve. They compromise the safety of the system and then the dealers make a nice new 4 grade auction sheet for the car.

I replaced the seatbelt with another one from Bilal Ganj after verifying that the pre-tensioner on the replacement belt had not deployed. The point is that people who go around saying that they bought a JDM and it has airbags, probably don't realize that just because it has an SRS sign on the dash, it does not mean that the car has a working airbag.

I Meant... That It's Your Luck Which JDM You Get.... For That You Have To Check Every Single Thing In The Car........ And This Does Not Mean That Every Car Is Damaged.

If you really want to see which types of accidental cars are being imported, repaired locally and sold as genuine, try visiting Car Point on Multan Road. He is one of the biggest importers of cars in LHR and he has setup his very own workshop to repair these cars. He is only importing clean cars on customer's requests. He is supplying repaired cars to many dealers on Jail Road.
I have seen cars with crumpled roofs being replaced, entire front of the cars being replaced by half-cuts, etc.

Seen them personally last week, totally agree with you. People here are all about "JAY DEE EM = Quality... PKDM = CRAP/*****/POOP".

At least I can't buy a JDM after looking at them being repaired from total scrap in front of my eyes.

The tensioners jam in case of an accident when the airbags blow.And most of the time they replace driver not passanger

Hanamaru is a website whixh only deals in accidental and if u want ill post pics from there and you may wanna die but axio is maybe imported in much bad condition but the dealers dont buy a

No body is afraid of bringing in major damages, blown air bags no problem. How will the buyer check if the damn car has the bags.......hahhaha.

I wish the GOP would also ban import of damaged used cars.

A friend of mine has confirmed seeing 2 cut halves being welded here in a lahore workshop.
