Yes it was a very heavy hit so seals have to be remade and bumper was un repairable as its plastic and obviously it'll leave signs of repair!

It is easy for professionals. But, people here go in to the market and when they look at the 'Applied For' plate and 'Plastic covered seats', they seem to think that the car will be brand new and there is no need of having a professional check-up.

One should be very careful while purchasing JDM applied for cars.
Last week my neighbour bough 2008 yellow vitz. And there was clear difference in paint. Paint of bonnet fender and both front doors were different then trunk and rare doors.
I asked why u didn't check. He said even now I cannot feel the difference.
And that moment I felt sorry for him and curse the Dealor a lot.
This is totally haram.

Bro detecting paint on mehran maybe easy but when its perfectly matched and high quality paint is used , you will never know the difference!

My brother. Good quality paint and color is not the only sign. There is a clean jala in so called GENIUN paint some painters are so champ that they can put jala too. But cannot match the frequency and pattern of jala in original and painted color

Yes but not everyone can detect jala nor everyone gets the car checked by a painter ! So thats the case ! If the paints done to perfection , people just love it ! And think it as all original!

good lord - you guys actually prefer the crap looking orange peel? - its a disgrace of a paint job.

the jala (orange peel) is easily duplicated if the person holding the gun wants to make it. I personally hate it.

That is called - love, you cant help it.

both ways - you love the glass like finish - they love the orange peel...

I personally like the glass finish. specially the glass type finish on a grosser mercedes 600 in black. That car was made for Dictators and Kings and its paint seemed as if you are looking into a lake.

Have that orange peel thingy on My Mira too and i hate it, A clear glossy reflection is what i need, the orange peel eats up the fun of the red wine color :(.
Thats why i dont like oranges too

Zulfiqar bhai, I also dont prefer jala but at least this is the way to judge paint. Kheer if painter can use good quality paint same color and jala too then its impossible to trace a guy like me can be fooled then.

May be I have to check inner side of door or bonnet . Chor nay koe surag to choral hoga na.

There is one more sign. If u look closely within the paint then u may feel the rubbing of sand paper in the repainted parts

My car is at the workshop for a few touchups. In the morning, I got a phone call from my driver who gave the paint matcher the phone. He asked me my car's model. He found the color code of the net and made it according to that! My painter says that this guy makes paints for all japenese cars .
