Very Very True, but bro there are many other things that keep people away from Jdm's.
1.Spare Parts, They r not easily available, a front bumper of a mira es costs 20,000+ and one side mirror, ( not pair ) costs 21,000, and the side mirrors r stolen everyday, corolla side mirrors are also stolen but r atleast available for 4000 Pair. Tomorrow god forbid ur jdm's cars headight broke, do u wanna know the price, Only 20,000 subject to availablity.
2.High Mile Cars, majority of the dealers reverse the meters, resulting in bad condition cars, Now u will say, its the buyers responsibility to check auction sheet,etc, most people don't know what an auction sheet is, and when dealers import genuine graded cars people don't buy them because they r getting the same car, restored,meter tampered, for 50k less, so dealers r forced to import inferior cars.
3.Resale, Yes Resale, now u would be thinking that cars is for use and not an investment, i am spending a big amount of 8 lac rupees, which i have earn't through much struggles and hard work, now an a avg person keeps a car for 6 months to max one year, now i have planned to sell my car after using it for an year, and now no one is ready to buy, i am screwed as my 8 lacs r gone in the drain.
These r some problems which force we pakistani's to buy these Pkdm car's as we got no other option.
Suzuki is the biggest looter in our country, they r producing inferior quality $hit boxes at insanely high prices, Honda and Toyota r still good, Honda is Pakistan's best car manufacturer and Toyota Corolla is also good but only lacks imobilizer which is a must Xli is a crap though.
Why r pkdm's expensive, because r importings r getting higher and we ourselves r destroying our economy
