The basic problem bikers have is a lack of road sense and impatience.
I just fail to understand why bikers cannot stop behind the white line on a signal. And then they start honking or giving you eyes if you do not allow them to stand in front of you.

But still they deserve respect. I see car drivers treating them as shit. Bikers ko kuch samajte ni hen.

You are right, in Pakistani traffic respect is directly proportional to price of vehicle you are driving, I have driven all kinds and I have noted a drastic change in behaviour of fellow drivers on road, if you are driving a cheap old car you will get horns and dippers and people will not give you way, and well if you are on an expensive or a large SUV people behave like slaves and get out of your way even without you honking the horn. I once took a lot of time making U turn on badar commercial Karachi in a Nissan fairlady and people waited patiently, had I been in a mehran I would have received abuse.

Sadly our society is materialistic to the core and we value human beings by judging their worth in material ways.

Totally agreed even a person crossing the road never give a damn when one is in a cheap car....whereas if your in an expensive car they will wait for you to get passed.

i could not explain situation. suppose a car has to overtake a truck or other car on a two way. and from opposite a bike is coming. mostly cars will overtake not giving way to bike wala coming from opposite side.

We live next to the wall and can hear heavy bikes racing around all night.

Someone know about the accident happened total on canal road near punjab university? I had seen mitsubishi lancer flipped over in the middle of the road.

Happened at boat basin. Biker died on spot. Inna lillah.(pictures from facebook)

I ride to college on a motorbike but other than that usually drive the car. riding the bike for about a year or two and can assure you the problem is not within car drivers or bike riders its within us. The reason its usually a bikers fault is because 99% of bikerss are very impatient. but on the other hand if a car was able to filter past traffic like a bike can most car drivers would be as stupid as the infamous impatient biker. Every day hundreds of cars and bikers run reds. If we want this to stop we as a nation really need to work on education as well as patience.

Not only that, When i stop at a red signal, and there is no traffic on the other side the people behind me start honking. And some impatient people even break the traffic light. So it is not one sided, but true bikers dont realize that driving at 60+ is a heavy risk as the bikes dont stop as fast and the local 70cc bikes have uneven weight distribution with rear end heavy thus the slide and slip often
