The queries have been answered well above. I'll just add a few things.

Yes CL7 / CL9 does indeed offer a very good package due to its price, drive, features as well as the support in terms of parts and mechanics, in my experience.

Type S would have least features but comes with factory bodykit and 17" rims. Considering how old the CL is now, I would give more value to the condition of the car rather than features, and as explained above, features can vary greatly. If lots of options are important for you AND you need a car in great condition then it could be a long wait for you.

CL7s start around 1.0 million but those are all money pits (you know the buy & cry stuff). Average condition cars are between 1.2 - 1.4 million. Cars in superb condition go over 1.5 million.

Given its age you should be looking for just about everything. Engine mounts, jerky transmission shifts, under carriage rust, accidents. Other members can add more here based on their experiences.

There are 3 variants in CL9 : 24S, 24T and 24TL. You will find different options on all of them. It was upto the JDM customer to make their own car so everyone went with different options. It offers one of the most flexible optional accessories in modern cars in the world therefore it won the car of the year in 2003-2005 multiple times.
Then there is the 4th variant CL9 Type S 2005 onwards which has slightly more HP around 200. All thanks to a slightly different map on the ECU and the suspension is slightly different for better grip in corners. Since it is a Phase II facelight version therefore you will find the Facelight headlights, facelight steering wheel, facelift gear knob, hazard button will be RED instead of grey, different grill, different fog light garnish pattern and the bumper extensions are molded in one piece with the bumper rather than separate extensions like other variants. You will find a type S logo in front grill and rear boot lid. Also check the factory badge in the engine bay.

Since I got the Cl9 the thing which bothered me the most was that in order to shift up you pushed the lever forward and to shift down you would pull it towards you. This seemed most unnatural to me as when you are accelerating the inertia pushing the driver backwards instinctively makes you want to pull the gear lever towards you to shift UP. And when you are slowing down the intertia is now pushing you forward so naturally you should push the lever forward to shift DOWN.

I had a discussion with Marcin Em of the Honda Accord Owners UK group and he gave me a solution. There are two wires going from the gear shift lever into the ECU. Just swap those pins in the original connector without cutting any wires or doing any fabrications.

So I did the following:
Remove plastic triangle on passenger side of center console, just above the carpet, then take out piece of air conditioning ducting, which simply slides out and you have an access to ECU connectors. Locate connector PCM D (17 pin). You have to swap pin 3 with pin 9. In my case it was the white and light brown cable that needs to be swapped. Please note you will need the tiniest watchmaker set screw driver to do this. I am linking video below to DEPIN the connector and also a short video of the DEMO of this modification.

Im looking for a cl9 in islamabad or rawalpindi ( Isb/lahore plate ) with about 1-3 panels touched at max with decent engine condition. white or silver color with black interior.

A few months ago I replaced all the leds on my cl9 cluster gauge. Ordered the leds from ali Express and resoldered at my office workshop. Needed a good soldering machine and a heat gun to desolder the old leds. The insides were also cleaned as it had build up some fine dust over the years. The soldering is not perfect and nowhere near the oem solds. I guess an electricial engineer can do a perfect job. The cluster looked as good as new after this repair. Havent had any issues since then. I do think the chinese leds will go bad earlier than the japanese OEM ones. I have about 50 in stock so anytime that happens they can easily be replaced again. If anyone is interested they can contact me and I can guide as to how it can be done

LOCKDOWN SPECIAL
unbolted radiator fans, intake box, battery and battery tray, intake manifold cover
did a complete engine degreasing with meguairs and karcher jet washer, dried with air blower, covered throttle body and alternator, painted battery tray after rust removal, also deleted the resonator for deeper sound, after drying sprayed meguairs engine dressing and left over night to dry, then wiped off excess dressing with dry cloth, also fixed the bumper gap between headlights with a wooden piece and some magic epoxy. contact me for details if needed.

What's the odometer reading on your ride?

Do all 24s CL9s came with full fabric interior with manual seats?

Yes I have a feeling they all had manual seats. Mine were full fabric beige. I've seen another friends with manual seats and black suede. So I'm assuming they are all fabric. I have a feeling that 24t 24tl had half or full leather.

How's the response and power after resonator delete? There's differing views but most people say it decreases power.

Mine is also black fabric, and I tell you I prefer fabric over leather or leatherette. It's so much more comfortable and a lot more bearable in summer.

So we have a white cl 24s in the group and we both were at par during a short drag race with our resonators on. I want to go see Bilal again and have a few rolling starts with him to compare how I do without the resonator. Other than that the map sensor data isnt different for before and after at different rpms so I'm assuming flow isnt decreased atleast. Intake temps have dropped so its definitely cooler air going in. The question really is which power band has been effected. Whether its low range or the higher range getting better or worse is hard to tell aisay. I think drag race say he pata chalay ga with a stock cl9

Yes this was the other effect I was sure about. My intake temps are horrific i.e. about 55C on a fully warmed up car. Which is plausible if you feel the crazy hot air around the left side of radiator area right where it's sucking it from. No amount of cooling in the resonator (if any at all) could fix that. Resonator delete will allow it to suck air from around the left fender area which is ideal.

Hi I have 2003 Honda Accord CL9.

My AC STARTS AND THEN SHUTS DOWN AFTER 20-30 MINTS. ANY BODY KNOW THE EXACT ISSUE.

HAVE CHANGES THE AC GAS.
HAVE TAKEN OUT THERMOSTAT.
HAVE SERVICED THE RADIATOR.
HAVE TOP UP THE COOLENT.
FANS ARE DIRECT.

PLEASE HELP.

Check A/C pressure valve. May be head pressure is rising so it turns off A/C
