Hi guys,
So i have taken the plunge and bought a 2005 CL9 for myself. its been few weeks since i have bought the car, overall the car is pretty good, engine and transmission are working perfectly. For early maintenance, have gotten the oil and filters changed / front brake pad changed. So while i was thinking of concluding the mandatory maintenance, i went for wheel balancing and alignment and came to know that alignment can't be done as steering needs some work.
Today i took the car to Nazir Autos in I-9, they got it checked and told me that bushes are worn out and needs to be replaced plus the steering is giving noise and they will have to open it to see what the damage is, if minor repairing is required then they will do it otherwise will have to go for Kabli parts.
The mechanic at Nazir autos said that at the moment you can continue to drive, but its best that you get it open to see how much the damage actually is
Now need the expert advise of fellow CL9 owners, if you have experienced a similar thing or have any idea of what might be the problem and how much maintenance cost am i looking at in case there is full replacement
Driving wise the car is fine, there are no noises and i only felt a slight pull towards the right which i attributed to wheel alignment
Would appreciate your input in this regard
