What is unichip? So you recommend unichip instead of reflashing or buying a tuned ecu like @fahdahmad did?

The speedometer is similar to CL9. What's the difference from yours? Only red lettering?

Regarding piggyback what I have read is that the values from sensors to ECU are modified. So ecu respond based on modified values. I feel the ECU might not make the optimal decision based on modified sensor values. It might cause issues. So I don't recommend it.

@ali.iqbal is more knowledgeable in this area so can inform you better. I just gave my opinion based on very little bit of reading.

Anything is possible but it's just too complicated as it's not a grip to grip swap. Now just imagine that.

What is unichip

Unichip is a basically tuning-device which acts as a supplementary chip which is fitted on to the engine’s on board computer and then tuned to improve the overall engine performance. In simple terms it bypass's the stock-ECU and configures and stores new data in the piggy-back which is continuously improving with real-time performance of the car. Does not alter or change your stock ECU configuration and for brand-new vehicles doesn't void warranty. It's a safe and clean way of extracting power out of the CL9 without having to worry about your OEM faulting.

A 1.8L Civic can't pull away from a CL7 (my experience)

Munir bhai, Civic's just aren't capable of pulling bus-lengths on the Accords

Lol. Thought a lot about it, but I just cant stand beloved CL9 losing, so never actually got around to it. My wife is more than capable of handling Turbo so husband wife drag race is no problem at all. Let's, see, will keep you guys posted.

Ive heard of an "HKS SLD Speed Delimiter Defencer" for JDM cars to break the 180kmph speed limit. Its an easy fix.

Spend approximately 200 USD for just a eliminator? - why not spend a bit more and get yourself a slight more torque, horsepower and 180-elimnated

Spend how much more? I checked on that kpro unichip. Costing over a 100k

Kpro won't work with drive by wire in our accords as per my reading. It will require modification of it.

I've used K&N drop-in air-filter and Works Engineering air-filters for my Accord - I personally prefer Works Engineering, felt a better throttle response with it - it wasn't something substantial just a minute difference in performance.

• Point to note: Cleaning them is a bit challenging - though they're quite long lasting.

@usmansameen - You can checkout Unichip Q and Unichip Q+ - both are compatible with the K24 setup - it'll set you back around 50K-60K approximately give or take.

Most people have recommended that instead of doing anything with the accord, i should put an m18a engine in my swift cost that is being quoted is 115k for engine swap, change of tranny to auto, injectors and ecu. I am just scared of messing up my beloved swift!!!
And i have just realized i love my swift more than cl9!!!

Where to get works filter from?? Is it oil based or dry like AEM?

Works is a dry filter and K&N pre-oiled.

Superchargers - Turbochargers any kind of forced induction systems will seriously take a toll on your Accord. It's not worth spending your hard earned money on a car which is made for class, elegance, luxury and comfort lol.

If you want to go full hard-core, brother sell the Swift buy yourself a Euro R. If I was in your position, considering performance upgrades - I would gladly swap out a Swift for a Euro R. A members car is for sale and I'm really tempted to throw in the ball but I know it'll be a financial mistake because I'm looking for a bike and not a third car.
