Yes but especially Karachi. Just to put things into perspective, this is about 4 hours of dust collection at my house! Car was cleaned in the morning and remained parked inside.

Exactly. No matter what 'best practices' are, in super dusty environments such as this, coupled with scarcity of water, there really isn't any alternative to dry dusting.

Any product supposed to act as lube only makes it muddier and with scarcity of water (or even if that was not the case) you cant exactly wash the car every alternate day.

Don't have an accord, but I agree. Black is the hardest colour to maintain. Especially when you've just cleaned the car and it gets windy! Your car turns from black to grey really fast!!

The only original paint on my car is on the roof, bonnet and couple of doors. A 12 year Karachi driven car is bound to have its fair share of scrapes, dings and scratches. Screw market resale nonsense as what moron would willingly drive a car with scratches all over and dents just so they can say its 'janiyun' condition.

One scratch and it goes to workshop to get fixed. Sorry but I don't want to be seen in a dinged up car and only worried about resale. Take pride in the ownership of your car and keep it looking nice and presentable as its an extension of how people will perceive you. A filthy scratched up car in poor health but 'genuine condition' is not worth much to me than a well maintained car whose owner fixed it when it needed fixing.

Yeah thanks. These are exactly my thoughts. I honestly wonder how people get away with having original paint in Karachi.

I bought a brand new Lancer back in Jan 2006 and sold it in Jul 2014 with only the rear bumper repainted. All else original paint. Used to live in Gulistan e Jauhar which is a super crowded place. Would travel to the other end of Karachi for work every day.

But now, living in DHA with my office barely 3.5km away, and rarely venturing out of DHA, over the past 5 years I have had 5 cars (including this CL9) which have had wretched luck in this regard, so am beginning to wonder if it is even possible to get away with it these days?

Already checked all door jambs as well as under hood. Can't find it anywhere. Per Google its R513, and I guess that's what we would have to believe.

K series run a timing chain and not a timing belt - in reference to when it needs to be changed, honestly I'd just consult the owners-manual.

expense after purchasing car1x engine oil full synthenic 5w-30 and 0w-30 is not avaliable oreviously it has 5w-40 zic semi synthentic2x filter local genium not avaliable will change after every 30005x honda type2 coolant1x engine flusher1x radiator fusher1x engine oil flitersad didn't find any transmission filter not avaliable in rawalpindi and islamabad so didn't purchase the transmission oiland also forget about brake and steering oil and air cabin filter. will get all the things on thrusday when transmission filter is avaliable

there moblil filter is china plz check before buying moblil filter .glue is wearing off and rubber is coming off and size is smaller then geniun filter...
price is 800rs but thailand geniue filter price is 400rs
+purchase honda-dw1 for 4400rs
Total tramission oil required for accord cl9 is 3 litre. i purchased 4litre but sirf 3litre dala ha as ma.

and found a port inside a hand rest compartment.. just reading the usual manual and found it..it support 12v Dc max 120W or 10AMP..
anyone have idea about this port for adapter or anything plz mention
