We've discussed this above. Accords of that era have had tranny problems. Bottom line is, it doesn't hurt to change ATF and its filter early - that's one way you can try to avoid tranny problems.

Either of Honda ATF Z1 or DW1 will do. DW1 is newer, synthetic though. Around 2.7-3 liters will be required if you drain from the plug and replace. Tranny filter is part number 25430-PLR-003, OEM available here in Karachi but apparently not in other cities. It is also available on Aliexpress but that would be Chinese of course.

Hello and greetings from Ireland!

Hoping that everyone is well. Here on a family visit. Here's what I've learned about the Accord in the local market. Only the CL7 was offered in the Irish market in base and SE trims. Most of the cars are manual and plenty of 2.2L CTD-i diesels as well. Fully loaded petrol version is hard to find. Prices start at EUR 750 for beaten-up abused ones and go as high as EUR 4,000 for fully loaded ones with low mileage and service history. Which means you can get a decent CL7 for less than half a million PKR. Damn!

Need help to find out transmission filter in Islamabad. Please advise from where I can get one.

You can get it from Mehran Auto's at Saddar. The part number is 25430-PLR-003.
Or you can get it from Honda AMX near dry port.
Honda I-10 Classic ( but they ask you to first pay 50% then they will order it for you in 2-3 working days time).
I got mine changed from Honda AMX, they had it in stock.
