I've also been contemplating Android head unit, as mine is non-navi anyway. Check out the Pakwheels online shop and there are a couple of Android units listed there. Lots of variety on AliExpress also, including huge Tesla style units.

But I've been held back mainly due to aesthetics. They have D button on left side for dual climate control and P button on right side. The buttons illumination should also be matching orange so that it blends in. Same for the plastic finish of the unit. If all these things are not right then the unit will clearly look out of place in the dashboard.

Yes that is the setup. Mine is non premium so no speakers in dashboard or rear doors. Just empty slots. Just 4 speakers - 2 in front door and 2 behind back seat.

Rahat Bhai I'm not a big fan of how the available Android HU looks in dash so I'm trying to find an Android unit that will resemble the current HU. I'll check the local market for options then maybe import through AliExpress.
We are also limited in choice because of ac controls in HU otherwise I love the look of floating HUs.
Yes car has premium sound system but I doubt that the speaker setup has been changed.

@viking85 installed an android panel in his car. You can discuss the working with him. My car had a navi unit. I didnt install android because it does not give the kind of crisp sound i was looking for. So i installed a single din pioneer pre. Was able to tune the steering controls to it so worked perfectly.

I have factory navigation unit installed which is perfect in its own and serving with multi CD changer. However, didn't have USB connectivity and add on features for a premium sound. Had my pioneer 2-din headunit available with multiple amplifiers and a kicker sub. we ahead and installed my own in place of factory DVD unit while getting a fascia for the pioneer headuniit to replace it. With current setup my steering wheel controls are programmed with the pioneer headunit that allows USB connectivity for premium sound while maintaining factory headunit to operate climate controls and backup camera as they were.

Yes that's the other problem with these Android HUs - relatively poor sound quality.

Android units available locally are not the superior models and specs; operation is pretty sluggish.

I've sourced a relatively high end headunit for LC100 and that even turned out to be a very ordinary experience after using these premium headunits from either of the brands. Eventually had to replace LC climate controls to manual controls and ad bezel to be able to install my own.

More than the looks; specs are very important for these Android units.

Anyone got any good recommendations for adapters we can use in cigarette lighter socket in order for USB to plug in? The awkward shape of the cigarette lighter socket means the common Chinese adapters don't sit firmly and fall out after a while.

Sadly the CD changers doesn't play MP3. So only have old school music CDs and radio to listen to. Thinking of buying a decent adapter so i can listen to songs via USB

I have a Samsung adapter that fits snug for me, supports fast charging and hasn't fallen out yet. I have seen aux adapters for the HU, you can get one from the market and then use aux-bluetooth adapter with it or simply play music through aux.
