:o This is the beginning of the ascend to the Badawi Mountain. None of the Utror residents or taxi drivers warned us how gruesome this track is going to be. For them, it was a pretty straight forward track presenting no worthwhile challenges. It was no different to them like we run to our neighborhood market to buy groceries!
Another click on the way. No going back now! And I question the saneness of the whole plan ! :o
wao an unbeaten track ..........
Not very long into the climb, we make our first pit-stop to analyze what we were getting into. Tayyab isn't very sure if we are on the right track! The track surely has taken away some of his wits, while I try to act cool.
Surroundings of the first pit-stop
Some 200 meters ahead from our first stop, I sit on the track under the shade of a tree, exhausted from the struggle to keep the bike in motion. It is pacifying to see Tayyab struggling as well with the ascend.
Down below is the Gabral valley.
Then suddenly we were riding through some open surroundings
nice POV
Tayyab went astray on one of the off-shoot tracks and came across this bee-farm. The loud engine exhaust note of his XR 400 disturbed the occupants of the farm. As a result some very angry bees chased him back to the main track!
As we pass
Struggling to get the Vstrom out of the mud-bath
Struggle continues
During the struggle, Tayyab gets a mud-spray from the spinning wheel of the Vstrom
That's a close up of-course
Passing through some lush green forests
A far off click from the track
A view from the track
Another one on the ascend. The XL and the XR wait for the V-strom to join them!
very nice and brave !! \
