Swift GLX. Tentatively date was 6 July. As per helpline, car is completed 3-4 days before but yet to be dispatched. After seeing comments here, I guess one month delivery delay is common. I am hoping I wont be charged the new 1% levy tax. My dealership is in Mirpurkhas which is hardly 220 km from Karachi. Therefore it will be arriving one same day after dispatch.

Since your car is completed in July, there's slim or no chance that invoice could be generated in June. So be ready to pay 1% extra before delivery.

They would have asked you to submit the 1% amount by now. My guess is that it may have been
invoiced in June.

Yes. Customer centre implicitly mentioned over email that many vehicles were invoiced in June to avoid new tax impact. Btw, tentative date was 6 july. Still not dispatched. Perhaps by july end or first week of aug.

Once delivered I will write to pak suzuki for compensation for delay, whatsoever is the policy by FTO. I know it wont be easy. However nothing to lose in trying

Bro these are normal cases now, first of all as a principle I never took delivery or Singed any document until I checked my vehicle thoroughly. Infact, for every my new vehicle I booked 3rd party inspection and only signed documents if inspection report results are 100% in every aspect.

Alhamdulillah, got my Swift GLX delivered today. Tentative delivery date was 10th June. Invoiced on June 28.

My swift glx cvt has arrived yesterday 29 July 2025 at dealership. Tentative delivery was 6 july. Invoiced on 28 July. No new price hike, Shukar.

One of the users reported on 17th June that bookings for suzuki swift are closed since last week and will resume after the budget is finalised. Hence i called the suzuki helpline on 5th July and they informed me that bookings are open but when i reached the dealership, they said bookings closed. Has anyone of you booked a swift from karachi?
