Adeventure Trek to Rush Lake (Hunza )

yaar if u see the tourist map of kaghan valley.U see two lakes names 'hans jori' near noori top side.Has anyone been there??

according to him, there is another way to jalkhad across seral gali and in way there are two small lakes...

Sorry for late reply i am away from net.Rucksack sleeping bags etc are the equipments you must have to bring with you.
I will send you the complete list of gears in few comming days.
Will post the per head cost departure date every thing in few comming days as i am working on it.
As per the snow condition is concern snow is very low this year so no problem for snow it will melt before late july.not possible in August as Ramdan is there in august.

Brother Rush lake trek is very tough and it requires high level of physical and mental commitment.

Acha, I was asking cuz I have done the base camp from fairy meadows..took me 6 hrs total, and 5 from beyal camp. There is one hill on the way, and its gradient is very steep. I thought it was fairly difficult, but then again, it was my first trek, and I travelled without food and water..had to stop several times for short rests.

Yeah leaves are the most basic problem faced by e trekker.We may touch Khunjerab pass or Nalter Lakes. Its all depends on weather conditions.

brother nangaperbet basecamp from fairy meadows is a really evening walk... perhaps it was so refreshing for me as i reached tatu via old tatu trek (one of the tough most trekking days in my life(biggest mistake i did was to carry only one water bottle and start trekking, that mistake was deadly and i drank bitter salt water from tin food and survived))....

dudipatsar trek definitly is a longer than fairy meadows to northface base camp.

@Conflicted - old tatu trek? Is there a new and easy trek now. Last I did that trek was in 2002.

Yes there is a jeep trek now .which starts from raikot bridge and ends at tatu.But from some riding a jeep on that trek is much scary then walk.coz for most of the trek,the jeep is facing the sky @ 45 degrees normally and at some places @ 60 degree..

yes tatu jeep track is one of the scariest if not the scariest in pakistan. i remember standing on th eedge of it and looking down i cud not c the bottom. only heard the huge noise of the gushing nala below. it was terrifying

1. Could one go alone to dodipat sar? I mean without guide or porter..

2. Please also tell that when this year the season for dodipatsar start?

3. Please also tell, the difficulty level of Aanso lake trek...

One thing, i want to tell you, that when i visited meeran jani,,, i choosed to leave the main trekk (my mistake) and tried to descend namli mera... the trek was just one feet wide and it was just loose bajri... I very difficultly managed.. by catching bushes and sitting instead of walking...

yes u can reach dodi alone also by just following the nalah at baisal. but its better to take someone as poter to carry ur lugage and also he will be ur guide.

Ansoo lake trek is short 4 hrs but quite steep. so u have to be fit for that

steep k liyay tou ma fit hooon. but loose rocks and very narrow trek is a problem for me...

Last year i have hike of 3000 feet.. and travelled 20+km.

F-6/3(2000 feet ASL) to Charani Tower Peak (5200 feet ASL) margalla top..

waisay after mid of July tou extreme rainy season ... as like 2010...

ranasherdil on the ansoo lake trek the last portion (traditional last climb) is loose rock. baki sara theek hai. ul find alot of difference in trekking 3000 feet in margallas and in kaghan valley. as the altitude gets higher u have to breathe thinner air and cloder climate and a blistering sun also.

will you recommend me some good trekking shoes for loose rock areas???

I had seen Service Cheeta Hiking shoes and in Lunda bazar. and also Borjan Digger brand...

But still not decided.... North star type shoes are not in my budget...

i have alwayz prefered simple cheeta or any joggers for me coz they rlite and comfy.
waisy u shud have some waterproof hiking shoes for trekking and u can get good ones from landa bazar. i have also got from there. i have not seen cheeta hiking shoes mayb they r new so cannot coment. waisay if dont have to go in snow simple joggers r gud enuf just chek there sole it shud b grovy and gripping.
