Advance Tax on booking vs Tax on registration

I also got my car yesterday and here is the reg breakdown for Lahore

City White Manual 1.3
Reg Fee = 30240
MV Tax = 1650 (i think this is for 11 months)
Pro Tax = 200
Income Tax = 5500 (prorated for 11 months)
Misc = 2000
Hire Purchase = 2000
Reg Docs = 600

Total = 42090
Already paid 40000 at the dealer
so total reg cost = 82090

I bought the car through a bank (so 2k for Hire Purchase), and also got a number of my own choice (they charged 2k for that too, i was told).

Brother, this is their new tactic, previously we could track the progress thru the reltionship no, now they tell u that they can get car delivered in 3 weeks time, much quicker than normal factory booking, once u do this, then they come up with different excuses to delay and after that, they try to sell some old stock car to u in different color, they did the same with me and after 2 delays when i pressured them, they told me that they had a beige color city available if i can come rite now, they can give to me but i refused and after some more khwari of one week, i got my silver city, btw this was by Honda Centre Rwp,

btw, sorry for long post but sadly this is how most Honda dealerships work

I am fed up of Honda Gateway... made a booking on 20th June. they didnt give me any relationship number, just a simple reciept with date and model etc...

They said 3 weeks (around 12 july). Then they said between 18-21 july, then they said definitely before Eid and now they are saying cars will come after eid...

WTH!!! these are professionally run multinational companies with qualified staff. surely they can manage production schedules and budgets.. they only have two models and limited variants. how hard can it be!!

well just to share my experience .... i got city urban colour from honda drive in karachi a few days back ... the car was on display ... i one day before buying i asked a junior sales person that i want delievery on same day he said ok u will get it and next day i paid nd got the car didnt paid a penny extra ..it was my luck that the cllour i liked was on display ...then the senior sales huy came in and saif that sir people pay 15000 for own the car same day but because our guy commited you we are giving u without charges ...i was like wowwww ... thanks God .. inny tusii nice ho ..but they gave me justs mats and key chain nothing else
